greenblood- i totally agree...both Brett and Ryan worked hard on their game and took a lot of verbal and mental abuse from Jimmy. They improved on their own-apart from and despite Jimmy's spittle infused, abusive rants. Very telling is when we had the team up for lasagna or barbecue and pool swims, we always said the coaches (Jimmy) were welcome....No coach ever showed up. Read into that what you want...

Would have loved to see Wright and Long under Fran. For sure. Long had just as much talent as Alex Franklin but I didn’t feel Long was used properly and not enough.

For one thing Fran taught teams how to play defense without fouling so that would have added a few points in his early career.

Lavon was an athlete could handle the ball, take a player off the bounce, score from the perimeter, play with his back to the hoop. He had a few bad habits (unfortunately) that a good coach would have nipped in the bud. #toodaloo

Nice guy but not hungry enough The kid had a smooth shot and did a lot of little things. JP blew it with that senior class. Way too much talent on that team to come short of a post season bid.

After 47 years I may finally give up my season ticket. I started when the Armory was home court, with some games still at Gibbons Hall. I can no longer stand watching this incompetent boob bring in marginal talent and destroy it. He's a pompous ass. I'm sick and tired of his "cute" brush-off answers to questions, and his taking responsibility for the team's ills. If he really meant to take the responsibility he'd resign and get out of town.
