LOL I love the optimism before every game, just like before the 23 losses this year. Saints are always some how going to pull it out and win. How are they going to win 4 in a row to win the tournament, or even 3 to get to the finals. When they couldn't win 2 in a row all year. Now they will learn how to play hmm, they have been waiting until now to start to win games hmm. I'm not falling for it again and again and again and again and you get my point, 23 again's would of taken a while. I would love to see it happen but it won't it's that simple. They won't be lucky enough to run in to 3 consecutive team that will beat themselves. Hope they can somehow win tomorrow night being a 1 point fav at home. But then it's curtains next game against Canisius Friday night. I hope I'm wrong I would love to see Kadeem play more than just one more game in a Siena uniform. They did win 3 in a row at home and actually if you look at their last 7 at home you have 4 wins, a pair of 4 point losses (one in 3OT), and a one point loss. They are actually ok at home, it is on the road where they are a steaming pile of garbage. And while Canisius and Quinny have far surpassed expectations this season they were preseason picks of 9th and 11th in the MAAC. Hardly an impossible task to get to Sunday where you are looking at Fairfield or Niagara. I honestly feel like the 5 teams we needed to avoid all wound up on the other side of the bracket. Siena was a 1 point favorite yesterday. Now they are a 4 point under dog, on game day. When you think with your head and not your heart, it's much easier to see the truth and makes it less painful when the loss comes, just saying. Quinnipiac is a winnable game but it ends there. If they win it will be a squeaker anyway just like the 4 MAAC wins they have. The 4 wins all year out of 18 games have been close games. They have a 4 pt win 2-3 pt wins and a 2 pt win. Miracles happen I guess, and that's what Siena needs.

It's certainly improbable for the Saints to go on a run but a win or two in the tournament is not out of the realm of possibility.

If they do win though, the odds of Canisius playing as bad as they did the first time they came to Siena isn't very likely at all. Canisius will be a double digit favorite. It will be a lot closer to the 24 point beating they handed Siena in Buffalo. Canisius is 12-2 since the loss to Siena, lost to Rider by 1 and Niagara. Tonight is the only reasonable win possible for this team while coached by JP. The season is over tomorrow if not tonight.

Certainly not thinking with my heart, it would likely be a bad thing if they made a run to the finals, if that happens they will have their excuse to keep Jimmy around for another year. A 30 point loss tonight would probably be the best thing for the program if it forces their hand. All I am saying is if they were in the 8/9 game against St Peters or Monmouth I would hate their chances against either of them while I think they have a good shot at beating Quinnipiac. Then I think beating Canisius is possible while beating Rider is not. And after that I would like their chances against Niagara or Fairfield way more than against Iona or Manhattan. They got a favorable draw.

well the story here in the desert, is the line move in albany - seems word spread that boosters have created an atmosphere to dump the coach and athletic director in a coo attempt. the wise guys started loading up at plus 1 quin and kept buying until they circled the game currently at - 3.5 with the money line moving from +100/105 to -175/115
some figure the regatta is on the hudson and this is a boat race - sumthin sumthin to do w/ #teamtank
