That’s not what I meant and you know it..... Ok let’s recap your buddy’s recruiting history while at Siena because apparently you’re in denial or suffering from short term memory loss: 2013/14 Wright Long White Wolfe Cole Lost 3 of 5 or 60% of this recruiting class 2014/15 Brandwijk Gottfried Paige Lost 3 of 3 or 100% of this recruiting class 2015/16 Wormley LaRose Nico Fisher Smithen Lost 2 of 5 or 40% of this recruiting class Probably will be 3 of 5 Smithen has a year of eligibility but he's about to be persona non grata. 2016/17 - 2017/18 TBD So far your boy has run off 8 of 13 (62%) recruits in the first 3 recruiting classes with more to follow this year. Outstanding work and errrrrrrrrrrrrrrr slightly higher than the average stated. I did this from memory feel free to correct as needed. I also didn’t include Adu Burdine Brookins JO and Hopper for obvious reasons. BTW got to love the hypocrisy when you’re calling out other posters as “haters”. When it comes to your gametime posts you're pretty damn quick to throw players under the bus and all while giving your buddy a 100% pass. Says quite a bit about your objectivity and where your loyalty lies and for what reasons. You’re so transparent. I’m sure Crickets 🦗 to follow! IF the players play good, I say it, if they play bad I say it during the games. Who played good yesterday? The players will miss 12 shots in a row, and you scream how its the coaches fault? You: "Well he signed them" lol So do you give him credit when a player does well in a game? He signed him too right? See your transparency? It's NEVER the players fault if we lose a game. "Should have coached them to make 60% of their shots!" Funny how anyone that transfers is "run off" when guys like you are on a witch hunt. Not one kid left because he wanted to play more? Move closer to home? Play on the same team as his brother? None of those theories work though right? Always, "Run off." What a myopic point of view/response. LOL you’re pathetic. I state facts your rebuttal does nothing to address them, how typical. Fact of the matter is recruiting is at the core of our demise. Add in that your buddy is out coached more often than not and it’s no wonder we’re a low major. No witch hunt just facts which somehow escape you, I guess they’re hard to see through your Rex colored glasses. Let me put this in terms even you might be able to understand Recruiting = Bad Coaching = Meh Program = Regressed

You do have reading comprehension issues nowhere in this thread did I unequivocally state as fact that all players leaving where run-off. I did indicate that there is a difference between voluntary leaving and being run-off. I also went on to provide names and numbers of players to leave the program (as you challenged). You have some nerve referring to me as a moron. If you live in a glass house don’t throw rocks. Look dummy call it what you will and justify it however you like (most everyone here is onto your objectivity) Rex is on pace to lose 71% percent of his first 3 recruiting classes. Now go away I feel like I’m arguing with a stubborn 5 year old.

Funny, you maintain they weren't run off and left only because they were spoiled puppies who wanted to go NBA or get more PT or be closer to mommy or didn't like the Mark Thomas suit yelling at them - since you and JP share a Kool-Aid now and then and I'm sure he dilutes his with "oh poor me" tears, illuminate us and tell us which players WERE run off

But to imply every transfer he's talking about was "run off" is ridiculous. Kids can feel when they aren't going to get any P/T and leave yo get some. It's a normal occurrence at the D-1 level as the article points out. I just find it comical that the haters think the transfer problem is only Siena's. Happens a lot st UA, but none of you talk about that?

For the record, I don't follow UA to any level other than recent scores and my new practice of reading the UA articles so I'm in no position to agree or disagree with what you say about their transfer history. One related element is rarely brought up - you, I'm sure, will know the answer - "How much, if any, effort does JP extend to try and dissuade a kid HE RECRUITED from transferring?" I'm guessing zero effort - not in his genes. He's filling slots he doesn't even have at incomprehensible numbers and that reeks of players being put in a "we want you to leave" position before our OOC schedule had been half over. One glaring exception might be Clareth whose behaviors last year would have put him on the priority list for a non-renewal at many other schools! What did JP do - bought him back (bought is not a misspelling of brought) with the title of Captain! Can't tell you how many Siena fans and non-Siena fans shook their heads when that announcement was made VERY, VERY EARLY.....

One last comment on this topic genius, and this is important so try and stay with me I know it’s difficult because it will require you to think, but it’s a point/concept you can’t seem to grasp. Rex is on pace to lose SEVENTYONE PERCENT of his first three recruiting classes. Regardless of how you refer to the departed Transfers / Run-offs the issue of losing that many players is indicative of a much larger problem.

Another way to look at it - he's way below so-so on the player retention scale at 29%.....LOL

There's obviously been some recruits that showed early on in practice and games that they don't belong at the D-1 level. And yes, I'm on record that it's Jimmy's fault for not hiring better recruiters/talent evaluators. He delegates way too much responsibility to his staff and they have NBT come thru. Namely the two that he fired. Bad hires. On him.

Namely the two that he fired. Bad hires. On him. Ba ha ha so essentially you’re on record casting blame on the assistant coaches. That’s priceless. So now it’s the assistant’s fault and Jimmy delegates too much? Seriously? All that tells me is that he’s not doing his job. This appears to be a lazy mans approach vs someone successful like Becker and Brown. Who runs the program? Who hired the assistants? Who offers the players scholarship? Who has the ultimate responsibility for reviewing talent before signing off and issuing an offer? Stop trying to place blame on everyone else and place it where it squarely belongs. Your unwavering defense of Rex is making you out to be a fool. If Rex conducts business where he delegates to the point where it fails he’s not doing his job! He’s been a HC 15 years and this is how he conducts business ? Sounds like he phoning it in to me... Please!
