Since I am out of the region for most of the season, I got to experience the new atrium- beautiful facility. Once the TUC renovates suites, scoreboards, etc- it will be a good facility for hopefully many years ahead. Anyway, the game tonight. Yeah Nico had a good day. Still some dumb turnovers for sure. Happy Holidays to all! Next game: @ Marist, Friday December 29th, 7 pm, free to watch on ESPN3. Agree on TUC! Those boys were exhausted tonight! Nico & Penn did well. But I recall both requesting to come out in 2nd half but, coach waved his hand. Shivers isn’t playing 100%, Horn seemed nervous, Fisher tries, Prince good game (I hope his feet remain in good condition), Richard had some good moments, I like Kadeem & Bentley they are go getters! Overall, the team had a rough 2 weeks!

Agree. Finals were also in this period. But the next two weeks can set the tone of the season. Don't understand playing kids who are hurting. Spacing and ball movement was pretty good this game. Don't understand how Friday went into bench land again.

However depending on their issue is, input from medical and training staff, they can play hurt. I think most athletes play hurt at some point during a season.

I think this was a tough bounce back game from the emotion of the Memphis loss, travel, quick turn around etc. As tough on a young team mentally as physically. I thought Saints did what they had to do to win and grinded it out. So a good win. Saw more positives than negatives. Each game is different and unique based upon matchups, who is hot, who is not, styles of play, etc. Looking forward to MAAC play to see what these Saints can do over the course of the season and see where they are at come MAAC Tourney time.

This is why Jimmy is always saying it's "all about the MAAC" - since he's been at Siena Patsos is 26-36 in OOC games (.419) but 47-41 (.534) in ALL MAAC games (including MAAC tourney).
Problem is at Siena he's only 11-26 (.297) vs the teams in the top 4 (or 5 the two times Siena finish in the top 4, once 3rd, once 4) and 36-15 (.706) vs. everyone else.

Yes champions play hurt all the time. Apparently we cured plantar fasciitis somehow in the plane back from Memphis.

Penn jumped in the air and thru it into the defender hands. That was all his fault. Sloppy ball handling. He is tired from playing the entire half Penn jumped in the air because Shiver's threw the ball too high.. I am talking about when Penn jumped to pass it out of a double team. He picked his dribble up way too much out there. He did turn it over but was never subbed out in the 2nd half. So as we heard in the post game. If the 2 point guards that he was brought in to replace want to play they must 1. Get rebounds as an undersized 2g 2. Play the PF position Case closed

I look at seasons in terms of rpi and post season non conference play. When you look at it this way it’s just as bad or worse (one cbi championship first year, nothing after that... rpi slightly better but 3 out of 5 above 150 with 2 seasons above 200

Plantar Fasciitis is a tricky ailment, it can come and go at varying degrees and different athletes respond to treatment differently. I did not think that Prince looked 100% last night and at times looked like he was running gingerly. Hammer is the BEST trainer in the MAAC and one of the best at his craft in all of D1. It did not surprise me to see Oduro playing last night.

Anyone hear why HC didn't have their HC? Figured it was a homecoming of some sort for Carmody.

I did notice ODURO grimace a few times..fisky playing your big all star so many minutes in a well in hand non conference, no meaning game.

Don't hear many cases of PF on many D1 teams to my knowledge. More of a overuse injury due to bad footwear and corrected by inserts and lifts. Would think with all the training time this should have been nipped early. Kind of makes me think back to all the cramping we had in the past. These issues seem routine to fix.
