Oh yes he sent a message. Find another school because you wont play much here That's the thing. Sammy doesn't care if he plays. You care more about his minutes than he does. Nice kid, some talent, no drive. Lol every kid on scholarship cares if they play. He is a nice young man but that does not mean its ok to take advantage of him. We will see how much he cares about playing after sitting all season. If he returns then it means he loves the school and is going to get his degree. Maybe he is just usuing the scholarship for his tuition, room, and board. Time will tell.

Wow PPC going after Jimmy and the staff hard. I wonder what Jimmy thinks of this? I will leave that to you. I am talking about the players not getting a chance to earn time. Siena is not the only team that does this. There wont be a 10 man rotation like some here have posted

After weighing all options and finally understanding PPC post about Penn not earning the pg position i think your right.Seeing that Penn played the point guard in prep school only coming out of high school with no d1 offers, within 6months of that getting a d1 offer plus interest from other d1 schools as a point guard. He probably didn't do anything to earn that.It was just given to him.Oh by the way PPC Penn wasn't the only pg that Siena was recruiting to bring in to replace Wright. Then practicing with the team for rest of season and weight room conditioning, while probably not doing anything to get better.Ooh yeah i see the conspiracy known, they brought in a kid who's not better then Richard at the pg who is a true pg hasn't earned the position by his play the last month's.And by the way happens to come from a Catholic school so the diocese has something to do with Penn playing.Dang right in front of our eyes PPC Pastos is getting pressure from the school hey play the Catholic pg looks better.😱Problem solved. We move on The pressure is to play the pg that was hyped from prep school. That came one semester early and practiced with the team. To make it easy for him the other pg brought in before him was moved to the 2g position. So for the last time. Penn did not beat Richard out at the point. Penn can only play the point and so he was given the spot. I hope he can live up to the hype.

I am chastened, I will cut SF some slack, please forgive me, I am old. I am more than 40 years out of university. I just remember how it was when you got a chance. I don't need to "niece name drop" I can get by pretty well on my own. My point was that if you are 18 years old and have a D-1 scholarship, you don't need to be taught. I'll shut up now.

This thread should be put to death at this point. I agree, unless anyone has news about Shivers' knee sprain. That has not been mentioned since Sept 8...

IF he's doing what you suggested (using scholarship for tuition etc....) why wouldn't the HC replace him with someone that wants to dedicate themselves to the program?!

You guys are right this thread has gone on long enough. I will close it with this thought. The head coach needs to win this year, if he isn’t on the hot seat it is at very least very warm. He will play the kids that give him the best chance at winning. Not who is hyped or whatever other nonsense. He won’t play any fan ( looking at you PPC) favorites for sake of playing them. I will give coach benefit of the doubt that he will play the kids that give him the best shot at winning period.
