As I posted, the Albany home game is part of the exempt event. Siena, Albany and Bryant play at both Louisville and Memphis, then play a single round robin for the other two games (Siena at Bryant, Bryant at Albany and Albany at Siena).

Kansas? For Jordan Horn, the closest mid-majors would seem to be Green Bay and Northern Iowa. For Roman Penn, perhaps Valpo or Loyola (Chicago). When is the home game for Kevin Huerter? Maybe we could get a North Carolina (Platek) and Maryland (Huerter) weekend up here at the TUC with us and UAlbany each playing both. We'd have to agree to sandwiching an away game at each place. So they come up here in '19-'20 and we go down there '18-'19 and '20-'21 UAlbany vs North Carolina on a Friday night at 7, followed by Siena vs Maryland at 9:30 UAlbany vs Maryland at 2pm Sunday, and North Carolina vs Siena at 4:30pm Who is putting up the $2 million guaranteed that Maryland and NC would want for that arrangement?

No idea how the money would work. All I can guarantee you is 30,000 fans that weekend. Since you'd be getting TWO bigtime games each day, the ticket prices would be higher than normal for sure. People will pay for it. Make it work. Happens all the time.

We have had a few good teams at the Knick-Pepsi-TUC with disappointing attendance and unfortunately U Albany just doesn't draw...probably the best game was on a Wednesday afternoon vs Georgia Tech...13,000 + I think our last big home game (and I may be wrong on this) was Butler with a disappointing attendance...

You're talking one game. I'm providing a DOUBLEHEADER each night including one of the top 2/3 programs in the country (Butler not in either programs league) Having both local teams in the building, along with a Maryland team featuring Shen player Kevin Huerter, would/could lead to a magical weekend. Yes, it's a real longshot. It would be nice if it was considered and worked on though. Top tier teams dont mind playing in one of their players hometown.

I'm not disagreeing about having Maryland and NC come up for a tounament...I think it would be great...I just think 25,000 would be tops. Syracuse actually drew over 15,000 but there are many Syracuse alum in the area and we are not that far from their campus....my reference to Georgia Tech and how great the crowd was,was based on the fact that it was an afternoon game in the middle of the week... I should have been more specific

Would love to see Elijiah come back home and play as part of a 2 for 1 series with ND. The place would sell out for sure.

I guess what I'm saying is, if a Siena/UA game can draw 5 figures, these two programs added to the mix, make each night a sellout. Carolina is a special program in peoples minds. And the Huerter factor for Maryland would be worth a few thousand each night. It's all a pipedream anyway

I also would like to see a few top teams as mentioned above be on the home schedule.............and I know it isn't easy making those deals, but this is where a savvy AD/coach can network and try to get it done, those relationships built over time are so invaluable.................one thing that would be interesting would be a MAAC-MAC challenge, where you could get top 5 teams from each league battle it out at various venues (TUC could easily host an entertaining DH with Siena of course), not to mention this Big MAAC/MAC challenge could be sponsored by McDonalds (well because they have the Big Mac sandwich of course), and by using the top half of the league it ensures very competitive games which could help both leagues/schools with regards to rpi ratings, just food for thought............

I recall chatter last year about a series with San Francisco starting next season - is that still a possibility? I believe it was away, then home.

Here's the original thread on it - pretty light on details but does say the plan was to go to SF next season with a return game in 18-19. Also, that the series was hinging on an 18 game MAAC season, which we got. sienahoop.proboards.com/thread/4717/san-francisco-series

I'd like to see Siena try to get a series with Boston College. It is a big name team from the ACC, if we do a 2 for 1 we'd get a huge crowd at the TU, it's a Catholic school, but the best part is they suck so we'd have a winnable game against an ACC opponent.
