Discussion has already started in another post by MTS (Patsos in the maac at siena) If Patsos is back- you can bet the house he will schedule the biggest patsies he can find. He never was good at schedule- with his fat a$$ on hot seat he isnt bringing in anybody good. Get ready for Colgate or Maine hartford St Franny etc, he will tell us how tough they are and Darg will laugh all the way to bank..LOL I think most of our schedule is set for next year. blog.timesunion.com/collegesports/siena-basketball-to-play-at-louisville-memphis-in-2017-18/22179/We have 10 games so far set if I'm correct with the new 18 game MAAC schedule Siena has three openings. There was a rumor (from HJ?) that we would be opening at Charleston too and possibly another A10 team at the TUC. Home: Hofstra, St. Bonaventure, FG Coast, UAlbany Away: Louisville, Memphis, Bryant, Vermont, Bucknell, Holy Cross With that schedule JP's crappy recruiting is going to come back and haunt him.

To the best of my knowledge:
Home: Albany, St. Bona, FGCU, Hofstra
Away: Louisville, Memphis, Bryant (all in exempt event with the Albany home game), Bucknell, Holy Cross, Vermont (possibly at Glens Falls, College of Charlestown
To be determined: one home, one away.

Better schedule is a good thing. Now if the recruits are able to contribute immediately all will be well. Let's hope it plays out well for Siena. I always remain optimistic until proven otherwise.

Given the mid west recruiting, a home and home with a quality mid major from that region would be a good idea.

Who did we play for Brett?

Kansas?
For Jordan Horn, the closest mid-majors would seem to be Green Bay and Northern Iowa.
For Roman Penn, perhaps Valpo or Loyola (Chicago).
When is the home game for Kevin Huerter?

Who did we play for Brett? Siena did have Wisconsin and Purdue on the schedule during Brett's career at Siena. Both were part of exempt tournaments, but they were Midwest teams.

Maybe we could get a North Carolina (Platek) and Maryland (Huerter) weekend up here at the TUC with us and UAlbany each playing both. We'd have to agree to sandwiching an away game at each place. So they come up here in '19-'20 and we go down there '18-'19 and '20-'21 UAlbany vs North Carolina on a Friday night at 7, followed by Siena vs Maryland at 9:30 UAlbany vs Maryland at 2pm Sunday, and North Carolina vs Siena at 4:30pm
