Wasn't the last Monmouth game 77-73 (75-73 with 2 made free throws with 9 seconds left) on the road and only a little over a week ago? Was this less representative of the Siena/Monmouth match up than the 20 point loss? I don't think so. Putting Lavon on Robinson was brilliant. No reason that can't work again 9 days later.

Coached like his job was on the line Two more wins and he gets another year Let's face it if Siena wins tonight patsos will likely be safe for two more years. So in essence this game is worth about $1,000,000 to him, no pressure lol. In all seriousness he did what he had to do to ensure victory. They needed one more stop to get the bench more minutes. We do have a well rested clareth (albeit injured) and the game wasn't overly emotional--pretty much slow down mode the last 7 minutes. I don't agree with that. Two more wins and he'll take a lot of heat off himself but if next year is in the crapper...

Wait, a good move by JP? And it is acknowledged on this board? Amazing!
I heard King Rice complimented Jimmy on changing the pace of the game at Monmouth. Can you imagine? Good strategy from our head coach!
Also the first meeting was an excellent and very competitive game for just over a half. There is no reason Siena can't take this game

And a win today guarantees a non losing season.

Well unless we win today, lose tomorrow and go to the CBI and lose in the first round It goes beyond W/L with JP - that's why there's even discussions about him going after this year. He's really rubbed people the wrong way and has a revolving door with transfers.

If you truly read the posts instead of bristled at every possible critical idea you would realize that the posts are fair even though you don't like the message. I acknowledge the good and the bad-- no need to be fake surprised by it.
