The absolute best version of a D-1 College Point Guard is a guy;
1) who first and foremost has the stamina and health and abiltu to stay out of foul trouble while playin 33(+) minutes per game and be as effective in the 33rd minute and beyond of playing time as he is in the first minute.
2) is quick as lightening in changing directions and speed with a great handle
3) makes great decisions under pressure
4) is the leader out on the court who wants the ball in his hands as often as possible but especially in the end of a close game with the game on the line and is not,afraid of playing in the moment.
5) and yes, looks to score first and pass second.

You can blame JP for a lot of things. Wormley leaving isn't one of them. No coach tells a kid to leave in mid-August. Why paint yourself into a corner recruiting like that? He was lucky to find Shivers so late to pick up some of the slack. JP obviously liked Kenny, he started most of the year as a freshman. Kenny leaving was on Kenny. 1-Indian: "Kenny wanted to come back, but JP wanted no part of him." Who told you that? There was no more scholarships left when KW wanted back, which was 3 weeks (Labor Day) later. To be honest with you I thought I had read it on the board. I guess I'll need to print a retraction if unfounded! 😁 I also had read that KW wanted to come back ...no retraction needed...just some research
