Call me crazy but still believe that regardless of what we all think about ad/coach/the players/ recruiting/the program, this team, this year, with Nico, is going to the Big Dance.

Thanks Gorvy - I was really blue skying it thinking tweedledee might actually be able to answer a legitimate question. AJ does work for Siena so I would not exactly view his comments as "independent". Was he looking for some of us to walk-on over the next few weeks? Not certain what "our part" would be - I barely have enough hair to part it..... The post-game comments are getting embarassing. Not only was there a "don't criticize our coach" theme, but also the suggestion that the "young refs" somehow made Jimmy lose control and resulted in his 2nd T/ejection. Watching Jimmy constantly badger the refs last night was a sideshow while Canisius was beating the crap out of us. I know AJ & Andy are in awkward positions with their association with the administration, but The General & Tom Huerter balanced it pretty well during the Mitch & Jimmy era. After the last bad home loss it was the players' fault--last night it was the refs'. They're trying to convince us that the elephant in the room doesn't exist. How in the hell are they going to market this program next year? Other than the diehards--myself included--who's gonna shell out the bucks to come watch Jimmy and a WORSE team come November? Maybe it's time to boycott the radio too.

I work with some great Mental Health providers, please let me know if you'd be interested in a referral. That post has me worried...

Coach didn't show for Paul V radio program this morning, probably didn't want to answer questions about Sat night and Nico situation.

You know I'm thinking the same thing. It's right in line with last night when I left a Super Bowl party five minutes into the fourth quarter while telling the folks at my table that I was going home to watch the Pats win in overtime. This is no fabrication I have four witnesses(all sober, as was I).I had earlier quoted Yogi-- "It ain't over until it's over".

Can't help it people. I am an eternal optimist for things that I hold close to my heart.
Siena Basketball(Notre Dame Football and Basketball, Yankees, Lakers, and Conservatism are some of my others) is one of those things.
It doesn't mean I don't see it coming or know it isn't there, but I hate letting the harshness of reality come in and slap me in the face until it truly is right there in front of me.
Though it's getting very close, there's still some time and opportunity to get out of this messy season before I get the negative know everythings to come and tell me how dilution all I am.
Until then, I still truly believe this team has the talent and experience to get to the Big Dance.
Go Saints!

Delusional?....
DILUTION IS WHAT HAS BEEN HAPPENING TO THE CHARACTER OF THE PROGRAM.

It's not being "negative" it's just stating the facts with plenty of backup.

A healthy (physically and mentally) Nico Clareth and Kenny Wormley on this year's team and I think the record and overall play would have been much different and much better. I know that injuries and transfers are part of the game, however the talents of those two at full strength would have made a big difference this year and beyond in the guard dominated MAAC in my opinion. Without them we have a weaker, short bench, rely upon freshmen and a transfer who sat out last year and barely played at Richmond in his frosh year and you are left with a much less talented team.

Agreed- don’t forget Kinnon Larose who could have played ‘spot” minutes as designated shooter.
