Hard to believe but Jimmy is going to leave a bigger mess for his successor than Mitch left him. It all started 7 years ago when St. Francis left not one guard or anybody that could score outside of 5 feet.

Rakeem Brookins was one of the highest rated recruits we've landed and was very talented. He was just a thug.

A serious request for you - not having been at or seen the post game presser that I assume you are referencing, what was said that "almost confirmed" his not being fired. Thanks in advance for a meaningful reply (you can leave out the snowflake references to save bandwidth - your choice).

Any team is a reflection of the coach. If the coach is not organized and prepared, the team will not be organized and prepared. Jimmy likes "junk yard dog" type of kids, kids who will "work hard". He wants kids who have emotion and play hard. He thinks playing hard will cure all ills. Playing hard is essential, but there is a lot more to this game then just that.
For one thing, to have a team that can shoot the "3" ball, the players have to know that people on the bench have their back. The player can't be tight, but has to feel both calm and confident. These kids are playing with no confidence and no calmness. They have been told over and over to not shoot, to force the ball inside at all costs and force is the key word there. Without an outside game, the team is struggling when it is forced inside and the player is triple teamed, but has no option to kick it out because no one has the green light to shoot the three.
Check the timeouts - see how much time is spent on encouragement and how much time is spent on degrading players. It looks as if the encouragement is coming from assistants when it happens. Give the green light to the bench. Tell them to PLEASE shoot and that they will never be taken back out if they shoot, only if they don't shoot. The atmosphere just isn't right, and that starts at the top. Almost every press conference, he says, "No yelling - we don't yell, we just talk to the players." How many of you believe that one? I know some former season ticket holders who had seats just behind the Siena bench who have given up their seats due to how this coach behaves.
He was an embarrassment to the program last night. The administration needs to step up and suspend him for a week and let him know that Siena has always been a program that represented class and we could be proud of Siena, win or lose. I am still proud of THE PLAYERS. This situation is getting ugly, folks.
I have tried not to post negatives on the coach, but last night put me over the top on this guy.

3 Million is hardly nothing for a school the size of Siena. It is sad that this was so clear to many of us and that it is now very, very ugly.
And for those that think the 3 peat is a standard, and you know who you are.....DEAD WRONG. What is the standard is having a team including the staff that puts themselves and the program in the best position to be successful. That doesn't mean winning every game, but it does mean you RESPECT the funds you are being allocated and the people who make it possible by their donations and support enough to continually put the best possible product on the floor. The staff does that by effective recruiting and player development, not putting a revolving door of staff and players into hyper-speed. Players do that by being on time, abiding by team rules, keeping academics in order and not by getting suspensions or leaves of absence because the 'confused' coach can't make his own recruits play as a unit.

May have been referencing the radio guys-- aj doing his best spin taking fans to task for bringing negative energy to the post game calls-- basically said jimmy is coach through next season so we should do our part to help them win a maac championship this season lol.

$3M for one good season in 10 years? Just close up shop and play club ball then..... $3m in 10 years is nothing. i was just talking about coaches salary. Lot more then that when you add it all up.. And,no, that money is considerable for a Siena level team....esp if donors and season tix holders dwindle.
