IS said - "Agree, but Quinny isn't that good this year." IS - For this season, any win is a good win!!!!!!! Respect your opinion, but as far as Quinny goes, pbefore tonight, they had only lost once (MAAC games) on their home court, and they hold wins against Canisius and Iona- so I won't say they are a terrible MAAC team. I do agree, any win is a good win; but I also still believe Quinny isn't that good this year. Yes, they beat IC but Siena will beat them next Tuesday.

No. This program is so not fun to watch, its agony! Horrible. Without Nico/Richard we have one legitimate D1 guard on team -Quis. This is what you get with shitty recruiting. LOL 😁

Remember Siena 78 (or more) to Quinny's 70 (or less). Good call!!! Lavon was a beast tonight...he is going out strong - great to see!! Let's beat Canisius Saturday night and get to 8-5!! Saints with 3 road wins in their last 4 games. Good job by the team. Lol

Good win. Nothing to complain about tonight from my perspective As for the Iona zone discussion, I don't think playing zone against IC is a guaranteed winning situation given their 3 pt shooting ability. Pick your poison there. We picked the Man to Man poison and it killed us. If we picked the zone poison most likely we are still dead. To win that game Siena had to hit shot and they didn't. Playing zone takes away from their easy drives to the hoop and scores and also gives us a chance to go out and at least bother their point shots.

@marksingelais Siena's Javion Ogunyemi, who scored 25, said the players didn't want to go through another three-hour film session like after the Iona loss.

Lavons been the best player on the team the past 5/6 games. He's certainty led the teams recent resurgence!!!

Bill, nobody predicted a win even if Siena played zone................but they had NO CHANCE playing man D.........you extend the zone out farther with our length and see if they hit it from deeper, and of course you try to prevent a lot of dribble drive which you can do by covering gaps.........this group can play solid zone D, and best of all it can "protect" the players from massive foul trouble, something we need since most here feel we don't have a lot of quality depth from the reserves............you have to give your team a chance in a game, that certainly wasn't the case by the staff, truly disappointing...even more so, no adjustment to the zone as they were getting carved up all night getting repeatedly beat............ IC scored 77 which is below their MAAC average. From my perspective the defense didn't lose the game, it was the lack of offense. Shi--y defense typically leads to shi--y offense.

Lavon was unstoppable last night. In the last several weeks he's elevated his game to a level that many on the board thought he was capable of since he arrived. It's great to see him post up and aggressively position himself to finish in the paint, help with ball handling to help us get into our half court offense, control the boards and knock down some big threes. He and Brett have been carrying us for the last few weeks and if we can get Quis and JO(who played exceptional tonight) to elevate their games to levels we know they are capable of down the stretch, we just could be a tough out in the MAAC tourney. The arena at Quinny is beautiful- only holds about 3,500 but impressive non the less. Really poor support from their fans- must be discouraging for them as they have consistently put out a competitive product over the last several years. The hockey rink is next door in the same building and sells out all the time form what I understand.

Long has now taken double digit field goal attempts 6 times and has 13 games scoring in double digits, pretty good. By comparison:
Wright has double digit attempts 19 times and 16 in double digits Brett has double digit attempts 12 times and 15 in double digits Ogunyemi has double digit attempts 12 times and 18 in double digits Nico had double digit attempts 10 times and 10 in double digits
Siena is certainly at their most efficient when Lavon, JO, and Bret are taking the bulk of the shots.
