Does anyone kn the team understand the concept of help defense Not going to win when you shoot 3-19 from 3, and 11 for 21 from free throw line. and a good chuck of those 3 pointers were wide open shots. Not going to win when Wright, Brett and Lavon all have bad shooting games - much of that caused by Iona faster more athletic players

and BTW some people might be fooled by 11 point difference- that game was a ass kicking- basically total domination by Gaels- at no point did I think Siena could win that game ..Gals were up 21 points with 8 min to go and coasted to 11 point win

Why the f*ck is Huerter playing? you can tell Iona is well coach and scouts well-- Jimmy put Huerter in for shooting, TH was one of few players Iona guarded away from paint- they knew he could shoot, good scouting by Gal staff

Not overly surprised like I said before our wins are going against teams with a .450 win pct, Iona just out classed us with athleticism, shooting and coaching. We're a mid pack MAAC team. Next year it just gets worse.

If siena can't go 6-0 against teams that aren't named iona or Monmouth, no way they finish better than 11-9.

If siena can't go 6-0 against teams that aren't named iona or Monmouth, no way they finish better than 11-9. If we beat Quinnipiac, Marist (2) Niagara, Manhattan, Canisius and lost to Iona again and Monmouth twice Siena would be 12-8. Hard to bank on going 6-0 against those teams though.

Sorry I'm so late getting to posting about tonight's game...guess I'm showing about as much urgency as the team tonight.

Patsos was sick, give him a pass. He took it....if "It's on me!" was a merit badge, he'd be an Eagle Scout twice over....spent the entire ride home questioning how the hell does an entire team show up (physically) and NOT be READY - perhaps they spent too much time visiting the Albany Institute of Art...found a copy of the scout that Iona prepared on a discarded sticky note - 'Siena has two plays - an alley oop at the start of each half and maybe one late game following a TO - other play is called "2" - bench will not shoot - bleed their man D - have fun - Let's go Gaels!'

@marksingelais 28th Jan 2017 Siena senior forward Brett Bisping repeated the mantra that his team, 3 for 19 on 3-pointers tonight, must shoot fewer of them: "Our coaches have been telling us we need to drive more. We think we have good 3-point shooters, but we haven't proven it. It's getting pretty late and maybe it is time to start shooting more one-dribble pull-ups. ... I heard Jimmy say in the press conference, 'If you're wide open (from 3), there might be a reason for that.' Maybe people are letting us shoot and we're falling right into their gameplan."
