So true as an outsider but an alumni who reads daily, but posts rarely, the sentiment of this board is sad. Not only is there very little support for the coach of the program which is sad, but the nonsense that is spewed against 18-22 year old young men is sad. Making the trip up with my boys for the game, win or lose I will continue to support my school! By the way recruits look at this board, I know factually one player who removed Siena from consideration because after reading this board he felt that our coach was not safe. The kid is being recruited by other MAAC and A-10 schools, and will be a great MAAC player if this is the level he settles at. I get that coaches are paid to win and subject to scrutiny, but what happens here often crosses the line from scrutiny to ridiculous! Don't believe it unless you post a name and we know you wont. Not going to post names, but anyone who knows where I coach high school basketball, and the kids that I am tied to either in my school or who have prepped after leaving me can figure it out pretty easily. One is in his senior year doing a prep year at a New England powerhouse, the other is prepping in Philadelphia after leaving my school last year.

Currently shooting better from 3 (5-18) than the line (3-11).

It took ten minutes but at least the best players are on the floor now.

Hopefully, they got the bad FT shooting out of their systems now. I expect 110% shooting the rest of the way.

Big win, great job JP and co preparing the team! Let's get the foul shooting takin care of and it can be a good year. Nice to see the coaching staff put some work in, the rotation still needs some work.

...And so, boys and girls, Fairfield the Red Nose Reindeer was shot down by Nico Clareth at the Times Union Center. That's why we don't have Red Nose Stags anymore.
In all seriousness, free throws stunk. We're improving, however.
Next game: December 5th, 7 pm, @ Rider. You gotta pay to watch!

FF is a likely top 4 MAAC team. So we just got a win in one of our 6 hardest MAAC games. I'll take it.

Glad to hear `stay on the gas pedal` in the presser. I feared they would hold the ball and play not to lose when the Stags made that big run, but they showed up at the end. We almost needed all of Nico's 32 to seal the deal.

Hopefully, there's enough gas left for Rider.
Rider is tough inside. Win that roadie with a short turnaround and we're in business.
There's only a few of those this year and this is one of them.

Wow...odd game. Siena looked like a potential MAAC championship team and PIG team in the same game. Great job to go up 19 in the first half. Second half still up double-digits and FF goes on a 16-0 run to tie it. Credit to the team for regaining composure and doing enough to win. A lot of stuff to work on but good win over a solid FF team. Nico was unbelievable especially in the first half. Brett is starting to get back into the swing of things. Lavon, JO and 'Quis all solid. We'll go how far this big 5 will carry us. Still need to get something from the bench. Siena 18-0 run in first half... FF 16-0 run in second half...followed by Siena 15-2 run. www.sienasaints.com/sports/m-baskbl/stats/2016-2017/sie1203.htmlOn to Rider! Go Saints!
