This board is almost as unreadable now as the PPC days. A win would probably change that. Funny how that works.

As I often Say, Rene Descartes almost had it right. He said I think therefore I am but for so many people I complain therefore I am is more correct. If they are not complaining they feel like they are not alive. Thanks Dr. Longwood. JP, I can't use Jimmy or it gets changed to So-So jimbo which is not my intent. I hope it has been changed Tony. You run a good board and it was cute at the time but please. Is our coach and will be our coach. Dissing him is dissing the program as a whole and given two 20 win seasons and two post season trips, even C level tourneys, is not grounds for dismissal at Duke or Indiana. Neither should be losing on the road at Kansas, GW and St. Bona. Just saying It's a bit more than that, it's losses to UA (1-3)and being unprepared for games like NC Asheville and going 2 - 7 vs the AE since being at Siena. It's being in the MAAC forever and never winning the MAAC, it's being a 500 MAAC coach and 500 Siena coach. Its screaming at players on the bench, inability to adjust ingame, it's recruiting, it's talking a good game but not producing. Look it's year 4 and we're under 500 and have an RPI of 280 plus and all this with supposedly with the best team we've had in years & there always seems to be a footnote or excuse, when is enough, enough?

Not sure why you included "With all due respect". There is nothing respectful in the post. Never been to Albany's court, so I can't comment on that reference. With respect to the other two............ So-So Jimbo is far from being an "idiot"; a whole lot brighter, smarter, intelligent than you and many others give him credit for. Evan does not "suck", and I'm betting that you will have to eat those words some day. Easy to take shots at someone from the cheap seats, but maybe you've been in the college basketball arena yourself at some point, and have some frame of reference as a former player for saying that Evan or any other player "sucks". If so, would be interesting to know what your playing background is so we (I for sure) would have some idea of what level of expertise you bring to the discussion in making a statement like that. Maybe then we could have somewhat more respect (there's that word again) for your opinion. To be clear, I did not, and never would, refer to our coach as "So-So Jimbo". That reference in my post is a product of Tony's clever auto-correction. I am not a fan of that. (i.e., the So-So term.)

"You are what your record says you are" Bill Parcels See, a comment like this is a statement of fact. It's not vindictive or insulting. It would be hard for anyone to criticize making a point about the coach in this manner when you're criticizing the job he has done. But it's not insulting or crossing a line that mature individuals understand exists. Respect towards the school, the program and the individuals in the program. There's always different ways to make your point without being insulting. I think a few of our more critical fans have recently tried hard to express their anger but still be civil and not attack. Their criticisms have been on point and I have enjoyed their comments because they have been good analytical discussions about what is not being done. But without the name calling. We still have a few members that want to insult and take their frustrations out with verbal abuse of JP and our program. Be critical but add your expertise to make this a good experience even when things aren't going our way. We're in this together ! I've been like most of you folks, many years and a lot of dedication (40+ years at these games) We all want the same thing. Let's do it with class and read your comments one more time before you push that key.

With all due respect the 3 items above are facts. Not sure why you included "With all due respect". There is nothing respectful in the post. Maybe then we could have somewhat more respect (there's that word again) for your opinion. His numbers sure tell a different story....as for me, I was just a terrible NCAA 1st team All American baseball player. So my experience as an NCAA althete is just fine....I also continued to play beyond college. So I am familiar with expectations and the work it takes to achieve athletic goals. I can also tell you as a player the media did not play into my decision in anything I did what so ever, guess I have thicker skin then the players in today's world. I know I was recruited and given an education to perform on and off the field so I ensured I held up my end of the bargin. Can you tell me you experience and what gives you the right to atrack me personally?

Let's all hope we get to enjoy a prepared team tonight and get one in the win column. Could not say it any better - we control the prep part - let's hope we excel at the "adjust" part as I'm sure the Stags will show some looks we haven't seen. It's winnable but we have to start at 0-0 and not the second half. The all-about March part starts early in the MAAC and this is our debut.

Only difference is turnover margin in this one. Need to defend better.
