It looked like Friday tweaked his knee last night. Anyone know the extent of the injury?

Singelais tweet: Officially, Siena's Sammy Friday is listed as day-to-day with a knee sprain.

Siena F Willem Brandwijk looks doubtful for Fairfield game after hurting ankle in practice. So Saints could be without him and Sammy Friday.
Go small. Or try out young Heurter.

Saints favored by a surprising 6.5 .... have to make Nelson work for his points and not put him on the line. Brett/JO need to handle Sidibe inside on the glass.
I know it's only the first MAAC game but with the recent struggles this is a game Siena absolutely has to have!

Shivers is going to play a lot of mins this year. I think the Bonnies game was just the beginning.
So far he looks like all things that Maurice White was supposed to be but wasn't.
If Lavon has to play mostly at the 4, Shivers could get a lot of glue guy SF minutes. Either him or Smithen.

It might not be until January that we get decent defense out of that backup center spot.

First off the bench (If Nico starts) should be Shivers, Smithen and Richard. I'd go with Huerter has #9 man. Hopefully WB/Friday don't miss too much time. Don't see time for Fisher if he can't make shots he does not help the team.

Was watching Huerter @ua game warmups . . . he's got a nice stroke from about 4' beyond the 3pt line . . . he made 6 out of 7 as he traversed the arc

Based on my limited viewings of Heurter, I thought he could give us some energy glue minutes at the PF. He's thin, but he's 6-7 and more mobile than Fisher. And he too can hit threes.
Keep trying things out. Fisher is a known commodity. Now is the time to figure out what you have. Heurter could maybe be able to get a few steals and blocks for us that could make a difference in a game.
You never know.

With the correct development, Thomas could be the next Brett Bisping. I will go on record with that.
