Did you just make the suspension part up? No where was that reported. If he needs time off because of the knee then what can you do? Sometimes I swear this board is a bunch of 11 year old kids reading this thread. no I did not make it up........................I was told from a few sources multiple things, and was trying to find out what was the real story.....................and at the very least got word out that he is not playing!!!!!!!!!!! Is it normal for a player who is only hurt to not make the trip? I would understand if he needed medical attention right away, but to just nurse it and get some rest?? I have to imagine Nico is crushed by this for whatever reason it may be. Even if he had to sit the game, you would think it would still have been a good learning opportunity and experience. I remember everyone talking about how important it was last year with Marquis watching from the sidelines last season... seems off to me for some reason. Whatever the case may be, I hope Nico's ready to go for MAAC play!

Everyone needs to take a deep breath. Let's hope for the best with the injuries. Compete as hard as possible tonight...Lavon should give us a nice boost on Sunday. I wouldn't play Brett big minutes tonight.

I wouldn't play Brett big minutes tonight. Friday on Friday. KK, what have you seen of SF against D1 competition that makes him a better alternative to WB or EF? What have you seen at all of SF playing other than a couple clips?

I'd start with WB if it were me. But I'd also settle for the unknown vs. the known. Fisher has a fair sample size going for him now. And in that sample size he has a rebound rate equal to that of a PG and a steal and block rate slightly higher than that of the water boy. Fisher's advantage is he doesn't turn the ball over and he can put up some points...but defensively he really struggles. I'm willing to sacrifice some mistakes and a couple turnovers for consistency of contributions. Steals, blocks, rebounds..those are typically more consistent than making a couple of 3's. WB can make an impact. He's shown that already. Maybe Friday can too. At this point, I just don't want the interior defense to go into the gutter every time either JO or Bisping sits.

Pure coach speak - Nico should be there - he's a team member and to sit in Phog with your teammates is something few get an opportunity for - don't we piss and moan when we think there is no leadership coming from within the team - Nico can help his buddies via his energy and encouragement. Pure BS if they leave him home to "rest" his knee - he could use the trip to actually learn something during the game even though he has to sit. I realize for MTS a trip by cab is a major undertaking but for an athlete flying is no impact to his rest.

👆this is ridiculous the kid should be resting not traveling to KA, NC and back, trudging through airports and for what? To provide inspiration. Yeah ok.
I'm quite alright with Nico staying put and getting better & resting up!

Him not making the trip makes me wonder if there is something else going on. Just have to wait and see.

Just a hunch and i could be wrong but I'm guessing his knee is giving him more trouble than we were initally led to believe. If it was just sore he travels, if it's acute and he's in a lot of pain he stays put. Edit So much for hunches😁😁😁😁

I don't feel like a traitor & I bought multiple UA season tix I wanted to be sure I / we got into the game ... that's a fan in my book. He's not bright enough to understand that. I already gave out the rest of the UA tix, except Vermont (want to see Lamb), but yeah, I spent $400 on 4 season tickets just so I could have tix to the one time game at the SEFCU, and first dibs on buying 4 more. Only a REAL fan would make that financial commitment. No surprise gorvy doesn't get it. None at all . Ok, Benedict. That makes sense to support albany fans instead of donating to saints Alive. Your philanthropy makes you a fan of basketball, just not necessarily Siena basketball. If you were truly buying the tickets just for one game you would have simply ripped up the other tickets to ensure empty seats for the remainder. Admit it, this was a nice convenient way to hedge your bets with another (winning) team because deep down subconsciously you know that this program is pretty much in the toilet. And if you think that is absurd, it is not any more absurd than you claiming that I root against Siena just because I happened to predict that we would finish 5th this year... a prediction that is likely closer to reality than not.

Well, that's a curveball. Siena announces it has suspended Nico Clareth three games for a violation of athletic department rules.
Well so much for herpes. Pretty sure that hangnail could still pop up though.
