Damn. Maybe it's the knee.
Mark Singelais @marksingelais 7h7 hours ago
Brett Bisping and Nico Clareth were getting some rest during @sienambb practice today. Clareth had his right knee wrapped in ice.
It could be that Jimmy doesn't want to push things by having him play so many games in succession. If he sits him for these 2 games, he gives him a week of rest. We may not need him at home vs. APB either..so he could take longer off if he needs...and come back for the Albany game after 2 weeks.
As long as we win the UNC Asheville game on the road, we may not even notice he's gone. That would be the game to worry about.

Nico's tweet 3 hrs ago: "I got 10 days to get back right. Nothing else matters. 100%" Read into it anything you want. Lavon back, Nico out.

Nico's tweet 3 hrs ago: "I got 10 days to get back right. Nothing else matters. 100%" Read into it anything you want. Lavon back, Nico out. Makes good sense to me. He'll also have an 8 day stretch from Dec. 9th to 17th..then 5 days off...then 7 days off. If he can make it back and somehow play the key 4 game stretch of UA, Bonnies, FF & Rider after Thanksgiving...that would be huge. Then he'd have some time later in December to get right again for the long haul of MAAC play. I wonder if his legs aren't flexible enough. I know I've had knee issues in the past and it was because of tight hammy's and calves. Perhaps somethings out of whack and key stretching could help solve some of the issues.

Sounds like we wont see him until the UA game - hope he completely rests it but I'm not confident he will - tough keeping young athletic kids down. Surgical correction of patellar tendonitis is only 60% to 80% effective and given how Nico played through the pain last year (and possibly before that) it's likely that his damage was on the extensive side of that condition. Hope I'm wrong but it doesn't look good long term.

We'll chalk the next 3 games up to losses.
Good news is if the program stuggles this season hopefully the will look for a new coach and a new direction, because we are currently a low major.

It is always something with this program. Bisping year 2. Wright last year. Lavon and Nico.
GW loss looks even worse now.

We can probably win 2 of 3 without him. We won without Wright.. APB at home is easy...so at worst we lose Asheville game.

KK do you agree that we have moved closed to a low major then a mid major?
It's though for me to say because I wanted JP to be the answer but recruiting is down still, he has more excuses then a stripper for why she is there, injuries, transfers, in house issues, and scheduling....as a long time season ticket holder it is getting real old!

You certainly live up to your name-Wise Moron. Siena doesn't need a fan who wishes them bad fortune because you don't like the coach. I would hate tobe on a battle field with you.

It never ends with this regime. Always something. He'll do just enough to stick around for a decade, that's the scary part.

MP unfortunately you may be on to something, hopefully not only time will tell. As I recall we had a kid transfer out because he thought there would be lack of minutes. Grass isn't always greener on the other side
