Walker is a 6"2 PG in the class of 2017. Recently offered by Manhattan.
Coburn, who also plays for Cardozo,is. 6'4 senior wing who Drexel went after hard but he did not commit.
Kelly is a 6''5 wing at Queens High School of Teaching. Transferred from Wyandanch (LI).

I think Walker is a 2016 kid as well. According to some articles, Naclerio has been trying to get them to a school as a package deal.

Walker - Walker, who has an 87 average in school, is a player in every sense of the word, thanks to his smarts, strength and desire to win. He can attack the basket off the dribble, slam it home or finish strong even with contact. Walker can also consistently bury big 3-pointers.
His ability to be physical can seriously frustrate whoever he is told to guard. That player is usually a non-factor in the game. Walker can only go up from here.
“He still hasn’t come close to reaching his total potential,” Cardozo coach Ron Naclerio said.

Looks like a nice prospect. Under recruited guard that has big upside. However he seems like a PG and we already have one signed and a freshman PG on the roster currently. Be interesting to see where he ends up.

Ok, he sounds ok and looks ok in quick highlight reel but how many combo guards do we need?
We got Wormley, Smithen, and Richard already.
Destin Barnes I get. He's big and he can be groomed to replace Lavon.
This kid is not the pure PG to replace Wright...so...are we planning on playing with a lot of small guards once the juniors graduate?

Need to replace JO and Long and Brett. WB is a euro type stretch 4. His game is not like Brett or JO's. Evan looks to be more of a project/role player guy. Need a legit 3 unless JP plans on moving Nico to the 3. Guards we have. To me Barnes and Holt and maybe Truehart makes sense not another combo guard.

To me, if this kid is such a great defender, he could be better for us overall than Richard who looks like has some lead feet to him. But Richard is signed. We can get away with a PG by committee with Clareth. Wormley is serviceable at the point. Smithen could be too or maybe even better, who knows. Richard is your little combo shooter. You mainly need that other big scoring wing or reach for a stud PG. I don't really see a reason to load up on mini shooting guards right now. Go for the big wing or go for the defensive interior player. The only reason to go after Walker is if you think he's a super stud. Maybe he is...I don't know.

Yeah I agree..not sure why the staff would target two players that are both combo guards when you have limited scholarships to begin with. I'm sure that someone will make a point to say they trust what the staff is doing. Makes you wonder though about the Richards signing

Not saying that is the case or trying to start a whole dialogue about who is likely and the ensuing 'don't speculate, blah, blah, blah' just sharing a thought that I am certain others share.

I hate to be the one to brin it up again but trying to figure this scholarship situation out for next year:
Graduating: Silas and Oliver
2016-2017
Seniors: Wright, Long, Bisping, * ogunyemi (4) Juniors: Paige, Gottfried (2) Sophomores: Clareth, Wormley, Larose, Smithen, Fisher, Brandwijk (6) Freshman: Richard (1)
* assuming JO doesn't get a scholarship back? Huerter walk-on
How would this work?
