Won't cam be a sophomore, at least for eligibility purposes? That is quite a large class

I hate to be the one to brin it up again but trying to figure this scholarship situation out for next year: Graduating: Silas and Oliver 2016-2017 Seniors: Wright, Long, Bisping, * ogunyemi (4) Juniors: Paige, Gottfried (2) Sophomores: Clareth, Wormley, Larose, Smithen, Fisher, Brandwijk (6) Freshman: Richard (1) * assuming JO doesn't get a scholarship back? Huerter walk-on How would this work? I don't think we have any idea if Gottfried was given a scholarship for the rest of his time at Siena or if he was just given one for the year while J.O. was gone. And we have no idea if Paige or someone else might opt to transfer. Bisping could choose to do grad school elsewhere. Is about a 2% chance that all 12 of those guys are back and all on scholarship. These things work themselves out.

Huerter walk-on How would this work? I suspect that this is the reason that we don't have a commitment from anyone yet. Most likely, we've been trying to convince players to hold off on decisions until after the season. With JP's recent Loyola history and since we won the CBI, and now we're again winning even without our best player, we may have some additional street cred that we're using on the 'trail to keep recruits interested even without an open scholly. I'm sure they're also now advertising the fact that these guys get to play alongside Nico. It may all be enough to get a couple of guys to be patient and wait for an opening or 2.

Siena has too much dead weight as far as contributing scholarship players, can't reward a walk-on with one IMO. So JO gets that one back (for #'s purposes) probably lose someone off the current team (inevitable)... as someone said, these things have a way of working themseleves out over time. That sophomore class will be bloated if all stay.

Cross Walker off the list heading to play with the Jaspers Hey, maybe he'll become available in 2 months if Manhattan doesn't renew Masiello's contract.

That he got out of that last fiasco blows my mind!
