They don't understand that our spending, including donations to Siena, are discretionary. Making that point over and over again is the only way to get their attention. My dad always told me "you vote with your wallet". I renewed but if it does t get better I may just buy on a game by game basis

The day Gottfried was given a scholarship I canceled my 2 Premium seats -sent a letter to Darg and Jimmy explaining why – I’m not spending 800 bucks a ticket ( about 1000 bucks to Saints alive) for a program that cannot put a winning team on floor in last 5 years. I may buy regular season tickets or I might just cherry pick games- but the product so far under Jimmy isn’t worth that kind of money, hell even Jimmy says so when he says Siena is no different than UA or Vermont, that caused a uproar in my section of premium seats holders, pissed them off to no end..LOL .. you can’t charge mid major prices and put low major product on floor for 5 straight years - I can wait some time, but after 5 years I’ve been more than patient –I’m not an alum, I m a fan that doesn’t mind supporting mid major basketball- not going to support program at prior levels until I see improvement

I also sent a letter to D'Argenio Gaskan also sent a letter
Others i know are also cancelling. The administration without a doubt take it for granted that many of you (us) have renewal on auto. They know you will renew no matter what... or at least are willing to gamble such. I am not an alumnus and i understand that this alone makes it easier for me to step away.
as an fyi... no response on the letter. The ONLY response received was to gaskan and that was because he mistakenly sent his response to the renewal folks. They said essentially "contact us when you decide you want them again" and that was it. Which really said... we know you will renew anyway... so when you do decide to do so, give us a call.
I am an 18 year non-alumnus supporter of the program. and that is coming to an end.

No I won’t get a response from that- they don’t care about me or my 1600 bucks- they do care about 100 people just like me. I know of 5 other people that gave up their premium seats and at least 20 people with regular season tickets in response to Albany game and the Gottfried announcement. While I wasn’t happy with UA deal it didn’t upset me that much, but apparently it did upset many people. I don’t know Darg said game was for community all those years- he then all of sudden gave that idea up for some reason, Did D’arg ask any “paying” Siena fans how they feel about it? He did not once mention the 7000 fans that will get frozen out of that game. Did he ask any Siena fans or was Jimmy sending Bisping and Wright enough to sway him? anyone? I do hope Darg is held accountable if attendance ( and corresponding revenue) has a precipitous drop this year . If Siena gets off to poor start and we are looking at yet another so-so year – no way the fan base can take a 6th straight year of that – attendance will drop thru the floor

Once Fran departed the program took a major step back from a solid mid major to a struggling low major. The Siena admin obviously has no clue what to do when it comes to hiring and should probably go with a consultant and search committee approach. Hope it's not too late but the empty seats at seasons end should have been a major wake up call!
I renewed this year, one more chance for JP (even though I hated the hire from the get go) . No additional donations until the program is improved. No winning season this year Im selecting games there after.
JP showed signs of improvement down the stretch in yr one which gave me a strand of hope to hang on to. ... Big season coming up ... No excuses!

The worse Siena is, the worse attendance is. The worse attendance is, the more games you can get $5 tickets for. The more games you can get $5 tickets for, the less valuable season tickets become. The less valuable season tickets become, the less season ticket renewals. The less season ticket renewals, the worse attendance is.
And the cycle starts all over. I have no incentive to get season tickets again until the team is really good and packing the TUC every night.

For three seats or each? Those are very good areas, center court! Sorry that exclamation point was kinda th24 ish. If you can get 3 together in those sections some of the old guard isn't renewing. $339 Per seat. And the seats are together. CR, you're a first time season tix holder (or obtained season tix for 1st time in awhile)? My understanding is that we long standing season tux holders pay the &289 for those same secs/rows/seats only because were discounted for bring long standing holders. Had I gave my tix up and then wanted them in future, I'd pay the new rates. At. Least that's how someone on here explained it to me.

Maybe It'll just be me at the games and they'll let me sit on the bench. That'd be cool.

I just want to start a family tradition with my family. I may do it this season or next, not sure at this point. If not this season definitely next season. I just may do it this year to lock in on good seats.

I was able to upgrade my seats from 104, N to 121, E back in the Breyer years. best move I made.

Curious, how many guys bought season tickets after a "big" (20+ wins)? How many bought them once they moved to the Knick from the ARC? Did anyone buy season tix after a real bad year?? I wouldn't expect a lot of people to buy them now after a tough year(s), but it'll all come back once the winning starts again. ps--it's a lot more rewarding when you stay with the team during the tough times, then it is to jump back on the wagon before it gets too crowded
