I keep seeing the name of this thread and all I can think of is a song. "But mama, that's where the fun is!"

Ogunyemi was a Mitch recruit and Cole was a transfer If Ogunyemi was a "Mitch" recruit, he wouldn't be here. And being a transfer doesn't mean he wasn't recruited in that class. He will spend 4 years as a teammate of those players. So by that logic then Poole was a Mitch recruit rather than a Fran recruit. Good to know.

Players are allowed to leave because of coaching changes and coaches are allowed to bring different recruits. Poole probably wished he backed out and Ogunyemi nearly did. The new coaches re-recruited them. Glad to enlighten you.

Highly doubt Ogunyemi is here if he hadn't already committed and was a local kid.

You think Patsos would have even sat down with him if he hadn't already committed and was a local kid? I doubt it, he would have grabbed someone else from the Baltimore area.

Thank God I live and work in one story buildings. I'm not a snowbird so it looks like a long and discouraging winter at the TUC.

No , no need to go on the ledge. Fact of the matter is, we aren’t a good team. We play a style not conducive to talent we have on hand. We over extend the press repeatedly. If we make the slightest mistake on press, team is not quick enough to recover. We are slow and non-athletic ( by D1 standards). We can’t keep anyone in front of us on the defensive side of ball. One third thru Patsos 2nd year we continually put two hands on offensive player and get called for fouls. ( Time to adjust to that Jimmy, those fouls are on you) In an effort to get kids to play hard, we continually make stupid fouls, often fouling 90 feet from basket. We can’t run an offense Vs a good zone. Our staff is too Baltimore centered- Our head coach is undisciplined, other than that things are fine
Listen I know we are missing Silas and Brett, but we really do have some underlying ‘issues” that have to be resolved. We need some talent, Jimmy has to do a better job on recruiting trail. Jimmy this isn’t Loyola, you better start making some effort to improve your game. I don’t want hear we are same as Vermont Albany Central Conn state- schools with budgets a million dollar a year less, Darg better not “extend” Jimmy’s contract in off season, the staff needs a shakeup- Jimmy needs a recruiter from Jersey Philly area, a guy preferably with ties to New England Prep schools- current staff is NOT getting it done. Last night’s game plan was horrible , and then we had no adjustments- Albany just flat out beat us in every facet of game, biggest ass kicking was in coaching dept, Brown and his staff out coached Jimmy and is staff, it wasn’t even close

Clearly we have at least one more very long winter as Siena fans. Thankfully, for at least another couple weeks I can put my sports fan energy into dreaming of the Noles repeating as National Champions ...

These numbers tell the story, Jimmy is staying true to form. The folks who had worries about the coach who hovers in the 16 to 21 wins a year and keeps there job forever may come to fruition.

Thats why he took the safe approach and hired Jimmy in the first place. What he ought to be doing is calling Pastos into his office and reading him the riot act and telling him to staighten the mess he created out but we all now that will never happen.

Please, no pushing while standing on the edge. Jumping will proceed immediately after the Cornell game.
