That exempt tournament in 15-16 better be a good one. That is another brutal OOC schedule. Pile up wins then get a contract extension. Coaching 101.

blah blah blah-- nothing but excuses-- What's the answer SU vs Siena in a 100 games.? I'll say SU 98-2. What's SU vs Vermont in 100 games?

If you are OK with a bunch of upper classmen playing 2 AE, 2 PL, 1 Ivy, 1 CAA and 1 bottom feeder A-10 program, God Bless. Like I said, the exempt tournament better be a good one.

Good stuff guys keep it up. If Syracuse and Siena played 100 times what is the outcome? The current teams? I don't know I'd have to watch each team for several games to take a guess. Papi - is Boeheim man enough to accept Patsos 2 for 1 offer? It's more than fair for SU. This is exactly what I was talking about. Stop being such a homer. Siena coming off CBI, Syracuse coming off six or seven straight seasons ranked in the top 25. And before you say striking a nerve, its not, I just cant stand blatant homers.

And you can't see that when Siena has a veteran team like Fran had in the 3-peat that they can play with the big boys. Tell that to Vandy, Buckeyes, Lou'vlle, Purdue, and Villanova.

Just out of curiosity for everyone who thinks that Siena could compete with Syracuse this season, what are you expecting the team's record to be at the end of the season?
I am still expecting a slow start out of the gate where the team improves and hopefully makes the MAAC title game, however if they dont win the MAAC tournament are you all going to be upset or surprised?

who said this season-- and for the record Cuse isn't coming into Albany to play Siena period. While all the writers build up good mid majors , if Cuse was to lose to one, the writers would kill them, kill their ranking and their potential NCAA seed. Cuse will play Siena at the dome( where they would win 98 out of 100) but they are not going to play in Albany on a much fairer playing field. Its not worth the risk to Boeheim even if Cuse wins 85% of the time in Albany. Cuse doesn't go on road to play mids and hasn't for years

I expect us to compete in every game just like I expected last season but even mpre so now without any BCS schools on the list. I would also love to begin a 3 peat this season... if we dont win the bid everyone that watches the games will know why... #Competition

However the way that MTS was posting made it seem as if syracuse was afraid to play siena. Makes it seem like he thinks they'll win. Also not to play Devils advocate on this site of optimism however don't be surprised if the team gets off to a slow start.

What objective signs have you observed that lead you to believe the Saints start off slow?
