@marksingelais: Combo guard Khalil Richard of Shiloh (Ga.) visited Siena last weekend. He relocated from Baltimore, former home of Siena's Jimmy Patsos.

Richard has just committed to Siena. Looks like we are out of ships for 2016 until further notice

I wonder what the reason was for the big boys to back off, height maybe? I liked the fact that bigger programs were interested, even if they didn't offer. "St. Frances rugged sophomore guard Khalil Richards is already hearing from Maryland, Indiana, Clemson, Notre Dame, Miami, among others, while he has early offers from Loyola, Siena and Cornell. The 6-foot, 175-pound lead guard averaged some 15 points, five assists, four rebounds and three steals as a starter this season in the shadows of UNLV-bound Dwayne Morgan, Meanwhile, in the classroom, Richards sports a 3.75 GPA.". Plus UConn started showing interest per the article. All this when he was a So. Good sign.

Good sign. 9.9 pts, 2.3 assists, 2.7 boards, and 0.6 steals is something like 'some 15,5,4,and 3' I guess...I guess. www.maxpreps.com/athlete/khalil-richard/qliyePTsEeKZ5AAmVebBJg/gendersport/basketball-stats.htmHe's a 6 ft tall SG who doesn't look like a great defender. That's likely why teams backed off. He doesn't look like a PG at this level and doesn't have a lot of bounce to his game. He just has a really good jumper.

I heard he is more of a combo guard and not overly athletic so at 6-0, he doesn;t fit for the big guys

When his coach said he was something special after his sophomore year, that sure gives reason to think that Siena has done very well here. This could be the signing of the type of player every team needs, a leader.

I think a ship could open if Brett graduates. Two woman's players graduated and went to other schools to play and get grad degrees. - Ida and Kelsey

I don't agree with everything (i.e. Cam) but I love the guards we'll have for next year. Wright, Nico, Wormley, LaRose, Richard, Smithen all bring something to the table. We'll also be solid upfront with JO, Bisping, WB and Long. We should be good this upcoming season and if things go well this year potentially the team to beat in 2016-17 in the MAAC.
