Hope we can get a home and home out of Maryland with Kevin there plus Jimmy's UM ties and relationship with Turgeon. Kind of surprised that Lamb ended up at Vermont. Maybe in a couple years huerter will be playing for JP when he leaves Siena to go to Maryland! Hahahahaha

For that to happen JP will need to win the MAAC a couple of times and get Siena to the sweet 16; and even then would MD want him. If it did happen Huerter would probably transfer out. LOL.

Somebody sent me a screenshot of Soup cracking on this board because Huerter picked Maryland? As far as I can see, it was one NEW guy ("itf"---61 posts.....probably Soup undercover) that had an issue with it.
Funny how "Siena Dan" never mentioned how he thought Huerter was only a D-3 kid! THAT is much more embarassing. #noclue #keepreaching

Not only was Huerter a low major player ( according to soup) - Soup had this whole made up scenario, how Kevin wanted to commit to Siena last year and jimmy wouldn't take his verbal and it created all kinds of animosity between Tommy Huerter and Jimmy—you can’t make this stuff up.

Not to be a turd in the punch bowl, but let's not lose sight of the missed opportunity here: Yeah, it's great for the Huerters that Kevin will be going to a Big 10 school that looks primed to be a top 10 program for the foreseeable future. But the dream of all of us is to get that transformational player like a Jimmer Fredette (we came close) that will take us back to the Fran level and beyond. In Kevin Huerter we had the table set to possibly do this--2 parents as alums (including a former player and long-time team sportscaster), all 4 grandparents long-time and active team supporters--and it didn't get done. I don't blame Kevin and his parents in the least. It's just sad that we're not a program of that scale, though we could have been.
GO SAINTS!! Let's make this upcoming season a magical one!

Don't worry, our coach is over at UAlbany supporting their football team when many other coaches are out wathching prospects and working the phones. He even wore purple.

My stomach just turned after reading your post and the one immediately preceding it... The guy isn't a gym rat and is more worried about his social life

Who really cares Jimmy was at a UAlbany football game? Some of you guys gotta get a life. Seriously. Patsos just needs to WIN. Who cares what he does in his social life. Mitch was a gym rat and sucked. That stuff is all BS.
As far as Kevin Huerter goes he probably would have always went big time. It doesn't matter his parents went to Siena. If he wanted to play for St. Fran he would've went to Iowa anyway. Kids usually always go to the highest level and Kevin was no different.

You live with your mom, are the first caller to the post game show EVERY Game, and love the Raiders. Really? Some of just want to win - I don't care specifically that he was at a footbll game, I wonder if Brown was there or was he recruiting?

Oh boy I hit a nerve...probably should not have posted right after the Raiders latest disaster. I am waiting for college basketball season already, lol For the Giants fans on the board do not complain if the Giants suck this year again. Just remember those two SB upsets over the Cheaters!! Jimmy just needs to win. We know he isn't a gym rat. Big season for him and the entire Siena basketball program.

Much more entertaining to give away scholarships while sipping mint juleps with one of the big boy coaches, whose son needed a place to play, than taking a long recruiting trip all the way north to Clifton Park to at least show the Siena flag.
