Measure should be winning percentage ... Expect it to be significantly higher next season ... This season Saints played in two tournaments which led to most games ever played in one season Now that is perfectly fair. AND Patsos did have a much higher winning percentage than Mitch last year. But when a few try to act like this was a normal type 20 win season are being very disingenuous IMO. We won 20 games Yankee... I predicted less wins before the season. The last 6 games were not expected so that put us over the top. We wont play as many games next season so you cant just add 2 wins as the mark for improvement. It is about winning percentage and conference victories. Once again I expect us to compete in every game with a chance to win

Once the NCAA allowed teams to play 29-31 regular season games (depending on if you're in exempt tournament) from 26-27 games that changed. But it is still a nice thing to put in your media guide. Siena's winning percentage was .526 obviously not spectacular but it was a REBUILDING season. Any MAAC fan would be pumped for their team's future to have a winning season and win a postseason title with everyone coming back the next season.

Whose expectations? If they are too steep for you make sure you don’t buy a ticket to post season next year( oh that’s right you don’t anyway) since we finished 5th with 11 MAAC wins this year with a underclass dominated team- with 4 freshmen and 2 sophomores in playing group, we add a "impact" transfer- an improvement on those numbers is realistic for sure-in fact a repeat of those numbers would be on the under-performing side 20 wins this season. So you agree Siena needs to exceed 20 wins next year, right, for it to be successful. Because as I have been told, Siena had 20 wins this year, and that is a fact! Some of these fans are dancing around the issue- I wont- with our relatively easy non conference schedule I expect 20 wins by start of MAAC tournament-- will that mean the season is a total failure if they have 18 then..no... but make no mistake about it I expect a top 3 finish in MAAC and a 20 win season-- with MAAC tournament on our home floor I expect us to be a real threat to win the championship-- I expect Siena to be one of if not the best teams in the MAAC next year .I hope that's straight enough for you ( and that's without major injuries etc)

But, I have said Siena will most likely finish 2nd next year, with Iona finishing 1st. Only other real threat I see is Manhattan possibly. 20 wins during the course of the regular and MAAC tourney would be a good accomplishment in my opinion. I don't think next year is the year you guys win the whole thing, but I see Siena as prohibitive favorites in 2016. I actually have predicted who wins the tourney well in advance quite a few times, including saying Iona would get an at large and Loyola would win the tourney a few years back. So I promise you this, Iona is winning the MAAC tourney this year and Siena will win the following year.

We have an easier schedule than last season and are a better team so I expect improvements for sure. I wont give a number of wins and neither will I say how many times we will lose. I go in to every game expecting to win.... So, the win increase only counts when it works out well for him? You just said he went from 8-20. So, I would expect you would want to see at least 22 wins, no? You're like the little gnat that won't go away. I think she did say she expects an improvement on the 20 wins, but not willing to put a number on it. Let's keep with the reg season first because 5 of the wins this year were post-season. I am predicting (I hate to say expect) 20 wins reg season. I would hope we win at least one and probably 2 in post-season, after that is gravy for these 'expectations. So, yes, I would say 22 wins. As long as we are going out on a limb in April, what's your win prediction for Marist?

MTS, I don't get the "keep calm" part of the repeat the 3-peat thing. It is too wordy and doesn't work for marketing purposes.

I know they only have 2 good known commodities coming back, but those 2 are REALLY good. They have no returning inside players of note, so I am putting a lot of faith in my knowledge of Bower and his capabilities.

I'm having a really hard time visualizing Marist with a winning MAAC record next year. You have no inside presence. None. The best you can hope for is that Lee and Colletta replace Bowie's scoring. He was half your 3 pt shooting and did it at 43%. You're lucky to replace that and his rebounding. Replacing Kemp at this stage is almost impossible. Coil wears weighted shoes and the rest of your 'bigs' play like little fluffy bunnies. Bower better pull a full grown rabbit out of his hat with this last scholarship.

He is very high on Obi Momah from what I have read. Lets not act like Bowie was a great player now. He was a very good player who got a ton of minutes. Many have also called Kemp soft. I agree it will be hard to replace them, but you do have to admit Hart might be incredible next year. He is going into his sophomore year, but he had a year redshirting before this year. He is a bull. Him and Lewis are going to dominate some games. Marist is rumored to be allowed to sign a JUCO this year if Bower sees one he likes, so that could still happen. Lewis and Hart is a nice starting point for any MAAC team. But, I do agree the proven depth is non-existent at this point.

I like the image of 'little fluffy bunnies'. Especially at Easter time. What if he pulled one of the little fluffy ones out of his hat? Wouldn't that be more appropriate for a recruit?

Did he do enough this year to keep your confidence level? And what win #s (reg season) do you have for Siena?
