I'm having a really hard time visualizing Marist with a winning MAAC record next year. You have no inside presence. None. The best you can hope for is that Lee and Colletta replace Bowie's scoring. He was half your 3 pt shooting and did it at 43%. You're lucky to replace that and his rebounding. Replacing Kemp at this stage is almost impossible. Coil wears weighted shoes and the rest of your 'bigs' play like little fluffy bunnies. Bower better pull a full grown rabbit out of his hat with this last scholarship. He is very high on Obi Momah from what I have read. Lets not act like Bowie was a great player now. He was a very good player who got a ton of minutes. Many have also called Kemp soft. I agree it will be hard to replace them, but you do have to admit Hart might be incredible next year. He is going into his sophomore year, but he had a year redshirting before this year. He is a bull. Him and Lewis are going to dominate some games. Marist is rumored to be allowed to sign a JUCO this year if Bower sees one he likes, so that could still happen. Lewis and Hart is a nice starting point for any MAAC team. But, I do agree the proven depth is non-existent at this point. Hart is great. Even better than I thought, and I predicted him as a ROY candidate 2 years ago. Lewis is very good but he turns it over a lot. But that's just 2 guys. You had them this year and only won 9. Now you lose the other 2 of your 4.5 quality players. I've seen tape of Momah. He's tiny. I feel like Drame could literally eat him. I'll look again at some point but my initial impression months ago was he just "another Phil Lawrence-type." Another tweener girly man. Just make sure he doesn't spill ketchup on his jersey before the Quinny game or somebody could be mistaken for a french fry.

Soooooooooo, I am gonna take it that you aren't thinking Momah will contribute much this year?

Soooooooooo, I am gonna take it that you aren't thinking Momah will contribute much this year? I'm busy working really really hard right now. Once I get home, I'll check out the tube again. We'll see what I think after that. I remember him having some ball skills, but if he's your inside presence, it might time to go outdoors.

Marist may also go small this year, play 4 guards/forwards with one big. Not optimal and just a pure guess on my part, but they could do that.

Remember what Niagara did with only 2 returning scorers this year? They even had Ware, McCall and Harris too. And Snowden contributed. They still came in last. I'm looking at 2.5 plus frosh right now. Curry and Thomas together make the half. Canisius has Lewis, Raney, and Valenti with Crumpton and some other redshirt frosh plus incomers. FF has Gilbert, Rose, Sidibe and a bunch of filler bigs. Niagara could be on the rise by a few spots if they get this Jorge Rosa kid to commit and keep Mason. It's a close race for 11th right now. Eager minds are awaiting the results of the signing period.

MTS, I don't get the "keep calm" part of the repeat the 3-peat thing. It is too wordy and doesn't work for marketing purposes. It was the gazelle group who came up with that logo and slogan, Siena was a cash cow for them. It was worth it for Siena and the fans.
