I'm skeptical this will happen but I would rather have JO than not. I would be greatly conflicted on the minutes he'd take from Silas and WB though unless he rebounded better. jO's play was light yrs ahead of WB last season ! WB has a long way to go with ball IQ and toughness. Is he athletic sure but so was Wolfe.

He was just a frosh last year and had a lot to learn. Comparing him to Wolfe is unfair. JO is the better interior scorer and shoblocker but has to improve or he could still be the worst rebounding big. The toughness argument goes both ways.

Still would rather have JO on the floor especially with Silas and Brett back And Out rebounded him by some hypothetical mathematical extrapolation based on rebounds over the same amt of playing time. That might amount to 1 rebound more per game .. ?

As I said back in like April, I do like the idea of pursuing 200 blocks as a team. The Silas/JO combo, if split right, could get us up to 100 blocks by themselves as a tandem center. Silas would also shore up the rebounding behind him. Having the MAAC's top 2 returning shotblockers on the same team can't be a bad thing.

I like having the depth in the post it allows you to play more aggressive and tougher IS JO EF WB BB that s a lot of bodies which helps with our fouling issues as well .

Still, Siena is full up. I don't think there's takebacks and do overs when it comes to $40-$50k.

Is JO a big DeAndre Jordan fan? All we need now is Doc River's daughter to talk him to coming back to Siena.

Can somebody help me? What are we talking about JO for? Just because he is not listed on their website or is there more to it?

That would be interesting. If he is even considering returning, is it safe to assume he would not have to sit a year if we even had an available scholarship? That would be ironic if we didn't have one and he wanted to come back. I was sad to hear of him leaving back in April. Good kid who's been through a lot and he showed a lot of improvement last year. I was looking forward to even greater production.

I’d love to see JO come back, although I’m skeptical he will. And even if he did I have no idea if he enrolled at BU , if he did I believe he would have to sit a year ( how ironic would that be? ) Any talk of comparing JO to WB is waay premature , JO would likely be best returning big man in MAAC , and I’d love the prospect of JO’s smoothness and scoring ability along with 15 min a game of Silas toughness rebounding and defense- sounds like a win win to me

the reality is JO is a center and he and Imoh would be a great combo. WB is more of a combo forward so I see him and BB and Long sharing time along with some oliver an dPaige time at SF.

Maybe he doesn't need an athletic scholarship during the year he sits out (IF he enrolled at BU)??
