They made their first 6 three-point attempts. Every kid can shoot it. Cremo is the real deal, but still wanna see him play man-to-man defense (Scotia plays zone exclusively) in college against another 2G, and how'll he'll adapt to not having the ball in his hands so much.

Ever think that horrible weather and televised games contributes to many of the empty seats?

Ever think that horrible weather and televised games contributes to many of the empty seats? They certainly haven't helped. The weather has not been kind to Siena's (or anyone else's) schedule.

This whole season has been a snowstorm. A snowstorm that has deteriorated into a snow job! "Trust us - help is coming - it's just over the horizon - yadda yadda yadda!"

A snowstorm that has deteriorated into a snow job! "Trust us - help is coming - it's just over the horizon - yadda yadda yadda!" And the option is? Keep an eye on the forecast and the horizon - systems do change. If that's not on your radar so be it. Amazing how often the world beaters that we recruit get Lebron like reviews up until the end of August and then become projects when the pieces are put together after September 1. I hope it all works - I want us to get back to respectability ASAP. Unfortunately, the last two years haven't given me any feeling of confidence in regard to the development of a real "team" that maximizes strengths and minimizes/masks weaknesses. Lots of unanswered questions - will Brett's surgery return him to his pre-injury 100% form, ditto for Imoh? Are there going to be further subtractions from the roster that will actually permit recruiting for the one slot everyone is screaming for? Are there going to be any surprise transfers and, if so, how will they impact the dream team that all think will take the floor next November? Will one or more changes in staff actually benefit us short term - i.e., kids each get close to one or more assistants. We won't see any on the floor recruiting pluses from a new staff until the following year so there are no short term gains there. Lots of open questions that only generate criticism of the questioner. Sounds like you just want to lay back and hope it happens - safe road - hope it's the right one. We all want a winning program.

That was my point, Patsos isn't going anywhere in the immediate future, in fact he got a ringing endorsement from D'Argenio last night, so what option do we have but to remain optimistic and hope for the best?

I think D'Arg knows he is tied to Jimmy. If Jimmy doesn't work out - D'Arg will get pushed out. He's been the AD forever and whether he wanted Jimmy or not someone will pay the price. Eventually it goes BEYOND the head coach. That's just my opinion - hopefully it does NOT come to that. Anyone at the banquet have any tidbits for next year? Schedule, recruiting, player development etc? Jimmy mentioned to Wyland today his obvious disappointment with the season. Greg has the scout against Niagara. He went out of his way to praise Greg and Lucious but no mention of Luke. Doesn't take a genius to figure out that Luke will be moving on and Jimmy will be bringing someone else (Ruland?) on staff for next year.

Only nugget from the dinner was that the DOBO is moving on to get a coaching not a DoBO job elsewhere.

Ever think that horrible weather and televised games contributes to many of the empty seats? No, it is the losing. Losing is certainly a factor, but is not only factor. For instance, I support the team win or lose, but even I missed a couple of games because of the weather the concurrent availability of TV broadcasts. That said, many nights with decent weather had plenty of vacant season ticket seats so losing cannot be denied as a factor. It is just human nature to want to be involved with a winning program. UA is winning and I'm sure their attendance has had an uptick. That is why turning around the program is important.

Then I wound up missing 5 out of the final 6 home games for a variety of reasons. Those reasons wouldn't have been quite as important if they were winning.
