I'd put Manhattan and Iona above Quinnipiac based on their postseason success and the fact that more of their coaches have gotten those power-conference promotions. QU has the potential to surpass based on budget and facilities, but they haven't proven it yet. I also might put Canisius above Niagara if only because of facilities and location (center of a metro area vs. edge of a metro area), but you could flip a coin on that one. The rest of the list is in the right order.
I also wouldn't be surprised if Monmouth surpassed Rider and the WNY teams, but they probably won't do it with their current coach. We'll see how long their leash is. What puts Siena, Fairfield, Iona, and Manhattan above the other teams is that those are the four programs willing to exercise buyout clauses in coaching contracts that aren't working out. The others suffer through their contracts.

Manhattan and Iona have history on their side over Quinny for sure. But going forward if anyone here were a coach, could they honestly say they'd rather coach at Iona or Manhattan? I wouldn't. Quinny has it all over both in terms of facilities, campus beauty and budget. It seems like a much easier place to recruit to. Now that Quinny will be able to get MAAC level recruits, their superior resources are going to take their toll on some of the other MAAC schools. I look for that school to be a future power if Tom Moore can get it done on the recruiting trail.

Beauty doesn't win basketball games. Let's see Quinnipiac win something first.
