John is a great guy. A group of Indian fans used to attend his team's practices.
After he left Siena I next saw John after Siena's loss in Greensboro to a Minnesota program
later shown to have been in many ways "cheaters". We talked to John in a parking
lot as my four passengers and I who I nicknamed "the Greensboro Five' were getting ready to leave
on our 12 hour drive to the Albany area. Sadly , only two of the Five are still alive 35 years later.
