Another neutral site game at Mohegan Arena in Wilkes-Barre PA, hometown for Siena’s Justice Shotes. A homecoming for Coach McNamara as well, from nearby Scranton.
Bucknell (4-4), picked 4th in the Patriot preseason polling. Center Noah Williamson was select to the preseason all-Patriot League team for the Bison. Saints will have their hands full with Williamson who can be a force on both sides of the basketball.

Saw some of Bucknell at Maryland they were outmatched which obviously wasn’t unexpected but they competed and can shoot the ball from three. Look like a well coached team by John Griffin. Siena will need to make some adjustments to win this game. |

First adjustment Siena has to make is to protect the basketball and not turn it over. You need to protect the basketball like it’s your own child. I assume Gerry harps on this all the time but we have yet to see good results.

Looking forward to the game. I think this is Tempe game Siena ends the streak and gets back to playing a team game. Going to need to rebound and get out in transition. Am thinking about making the drive over to the game. Was going to do the Cuse/Miami game in Syracuse and then the Siena game after but they moved the Miami game to 3:30 so impossible.
Let's get back on track headed into the WNY swing where it really matters.

Shoats averaging 5.7 ppg over his last 4 games after 24 ppg over his first three. Let’s see if Shoats can regain his early season form against Bucknell. Bison has dropped 2 games to MAAC teams, Roder and the Mount.

Saints need to get off to a fast start tonight and keep it going for 40 minutes.
The games in Florida against Miami (OH) and Jacksonville we fell behind battled back but it was too much to overcome.
Bucknell is a tough scrappy team.
We have to make open shots and shoot it well from the foul line.
Also we’re last in fast break points have to get some easy baskets while getting back on defense.
