Siena fans are amazing. Most have only seen Ojo. And a minor amount of tape. Yet one guy picks a lineup and a first off the bench. Another guy picks a leading scorer. It’s all in fun. But papa might be right on……
My guess is Coach Mac and staff have smiles..Us SIENA FANS need to get smiles in November

My guess (from the outside looking In) would be
PG: Marcus Jackson
SG: Major Freeman
SF: Reid Ducharme
PF: Myles Willmoth
C: Peter Carey
With Shoats, Ojo, Smith , Doty, Bradford , Coyle and Jones competing for bench minutes. I think the guard rotation would be the most interesting to see how Gmac distributes minutes.

I think the guard rotation would be the most interesting to see how Gmac distributes minutes. There's still a spot left that could potentially go to a stud guard. Marcus Jackson isn't a point guard. Freeman and Shoats are the two recruited PGs. Expect one of them to win the starting spot at the 1, and judging by the way GMac has been gushing over him, I expect it will be Freeman. I'd say if the roster stays as is, Jackson and Smith are battling for the starting 2 spot. The rest will be pot luck depending on who separates themselves from the pack. I can see a scenario where Willmoth ends up the starting 5 and Ojo is the 4. Possibly Carey and most certainly Brafford could be projects. |

Now this is the kind of talk/discussion that I love to see on here. This is the kind of dialogue that made it a priority to get on here first thing each morning. Get your cup of coffee and see what exciting things are happening with our Saints. It's so good to be reading positive things again. Thank you to all you die-hards that hung in there during the last few years. I can't wait to see these kids playing. And, it's going to be fun to see who's more right about the roster. With so many young players I imagine the roster will be quite fluid during the first part of the season. |
