It seems to me that these P5 schools paying kids directly sort of makes NIL moot at that level. I wonder if everyone on the team splits the $ evenly? I wonder if all sports split the football $ or if it is sport by sport based? The Big East could have some problems competing if they are up against the football $.

I wonder if all sports split the football $ or if it is sport by sport based? The Big East could have some problems competing if they are up against the football $. Players will not all be paid the same. They will negotiate their contracts (amount and term) and no the money doesn’t even have to be the same for each sport. It even says mens and women’s teams in the same sport can be paid differently. Will be interesting to see how Title IX comes in to play with that one. |
