Great job if you can get it … free tuition, salary, perks and for the lucky ones they will never have to share a bathroom or dorm room or dining hall with a fellow student who indirectly is subsidizing this lifestyle… next step in this progression will be classes for athletes only

NIL by itself might be a good thing. As the article pointed out NIL coupled with the no sit out transfer is devastating to fans of many college programs. Like so many things today the coupling suffers from a lack of common sense. Actually, common sense is no longer "common". My pessimistic, but realistic opinion is that the current conditions may result in the killing of the goose that laid the golden egg. |
