Wow. So a HC is leaving to take the assistant position that the new HC in the same league just left. Don't think I've ever seen that before. Anyone still think Siena isn't a premo job?

Probably a good career move for Englestaft being stuck out in Western Maryland … Gmac was astute to see why Siena can become a “premo” job: established fan base, professional arena, above average on-campus facilities, upgraded NIL organization , 3 TV stations that cover program year round, dedicated sports writers on multiple newspapers .., not many of Siena’s mid-major opponents can compete head-to-head (MAAC & beyond) |

Siena had to work hard to be a non-achiever, but they were "successful". They finally seem to have made a good basketball and business decision. |

Guy was 72-109. Couldnt keep his best 2 players there. My guess is departure was "mutual." He lands on his feet with a job in the Big East, making more money than he did at MSM.
Autry smart for bringing a guy with HC'ing experience while he deals with it in only his 2nd year.
