And on the west coast the women's championship tipped off at noon on a Sunday while the men's final was Monday primetime starting at 6:20. |

Women’s game was at 3pm on a Sunday and men’s game tipped off at 9:20 on a Monday night. And on the west coast the women's championship tipped off at noon on a Sunday while the men's final was Monday primetime starting at 6:20. Unless a west coast team (like UCLA or San Diego St) is in the final it should be an 8:20 ET tip. The game should be on CBS but Turner paid a lot of money to be in the rotation so I guess it’s worth the lesser ratings to them. |

The game should be on CBS but Turner paid a lot of money to be in the rotation so I guess it’s worth the lesser ratings to them. I don't get it either, the late start times of so many of the games throughout the entire tournament was a huge deterrent for kids and even adults to be able to watch the ends or sometimes even starts of games. That seems like a strange thing to tradeoff to not make the tipoff earlier on the west coast. Especially when they are used to 10AM football games every Sunday already. |
