And Angel Reese crying in the presser how shes a misunderstood "victim." Just watch the presser after they beat LSU and last year when she followed Clarka l over the floor waving her palm in front of her face.
You bring all the heat all by yourself Angel. You've got no class, and a big reason 90% of that sold out crowd was rooting against you, as much as they were rooting for Clark/Iowa.

the amazing part of Clark's game to me is her ability/vision to see the entire court.........she is a fantastic passer from anywhere on the floor, even from long distance, plus when she delivers the pass it puts her team members in the perfect position for a basket.....remarkable.........

As host school Siena displayed a remarkable effort in showcasing the MVP & Albany … 100s of little pieces making the event that it was … last year was a dry run & it showed

Question - did LSU really leave the court during the national anthem? they had gone into the lockerroom prior to the anthem, and coach Mulkey said they didn't realize that the anthem was being done as they were going through last minute game prep............. Absolutely true, but what a bs response by mulkey. She did the same thing last year, and apparently it's a regular routine for her. She needs a new routine. At the very least it shows a lack of respect for this country's small tradition of remembering the freedoms that were lost so that they could play a game for NIL money.

It seems like there was quite a bit of drama around this event. I live locally so I didn't need a hotel. Not sure how much of that "issue" was real vs. click-bait but I don't recall the hotels being an issue last year. It seems like Albany took some shots ... down to Rebecca Lobo "good luck finding something to do in Albany". Frankly, there isn't a lot to do this time of year outside of some decent bars. I'm not sure if they had fan events in the convention center. At least we had the 3-point line at the correct distance, not that it was an issue for Clark :-)

They had food trucks the first two days but then nothing. But I got pizza sapienza which never misses. As for things to do... ridiculous. They are there to watch basketball. If their team loses they usually go home. If they win they have just one day to take in the state museum, art museum, go to a play or movie, a casino, walk along the Hudson, etc.

The biggest issue with MVP is ARAMARK. They are not good, and the county should have an open bid for a new concessionaire. They should also work to showcase local restaurants, not the same stale chicken fingers, etc.

Taste N.Y. is healthy crap. He's talking about letting local restaurants come in. And Aramark as a food vendor is the worst. There are lots of better companies out there but they were probably the highest bidder

after watching the review of that play a ton of times, the uproar over the offensive foul call against the UConn women's player at the end of the semi=final game with Iowa is just ridiculous..........the player clearly stuck out her arm/elbow and moved slightly to impede the Iowa defender trying to get around her screen...........sure you don't like to see a call late in the game, but it was a foul and rightly called, kudo's to the ref who had the integrity to blow the whistle when it occurred.....

When the Basketball Hall of Fame was on the campus of Springfield College there were 2 Siena mentions: first at Armory scorer/timer waved off Siena game winner at the buzzer; second was Bill Kirsh’s “longest” shot ever made at the old Garden (may have been against Iona)
