Will Darg make hat announcement he is going out to pasture? Or are they going to follow what they did to the Hammer - honor him for 40 years then fire him?

My understanding is that D’Argenio has been well-liked by the Siena administration. That will make his departure more difficult to achieve. I’m not sure that President Chuck is prepared to make that decision this early in his tenure.

Darg has made a nice living for himself for being neither overly ambitious nor successful. He has been an absolute definition of a true 'yes man' and kissed enough ass in his tenure that he could literally die in the AD chair before the school makes a change. Of course, whether he is breathing or not while sitting behind his AD deck will get the same result.

I don’t know why folks keep bringing this up. He nor Carm are going anywhere soon. Carm’s getting at least one more year because of the buyout most likely 2. If you can win with what you have great but I wouldn’t expect any large infusions of cash into athletics. If the students aren’t supporting the team now, why bother? Just like touting the MVP area to prospective players. I’ll bet a kid wouldn’t care if the arena was empty if he was getting a hefty paycheck. The times are changing and unfortunately I don’t think they’re working in the fans favor.

Next time, and every time, they call or send me anything asking for a donation my response will be "I am no longer supporting the institution in any way until both Carm and D'Arg are no longer employed there." This won't make a difference (unless an enormous amount of people do the same), but it must be done.

Has anyone seen the Hammer at any games? He was there for the Bennerman Number retirement, but that was a unique situation.
