Carm if you care about the program resign and let a real leader come in and change the direction of the program I don't see that happening and I don't see the admin letting him go. So next year Carm will be at the helm and that said, he has to cut loose the DII/III talent and kill it on the recruiting trail with JUCOs and portal transfers and the lone HS signee to date (if the kid honors his commitment). If he doesn't get MAAC ++ talent at every position I don't think things will turn out much better.

Carm if you care about the program resign and let a real leader come in and change the direction of the program At this point, who really cares? The end is near. This chapter is almost over and a new one will begin. Blah blah blah. It will have the same beginning, middle and end. It starts will sellling hope. “This is Siena, this is a players’ program, blah blah blah” and more crap like that. JP was a master at it. How does a program in the Maac with arguably the most resources get to this point? It’s similar to California, how does a state with every possible advantage perform so poorly? It’s a systemic issue. And it’s not going to get fixed. If I decided not to renew my season tickets, sadly I don’t think anyone in my family would be that upset. Regarding the players who quit on Carm and quit on the school and themselves, what does that say about them? People here that are coddling these kids or feel sorry for them are imo dead wrong. If these kids are quitters, Carm recruited the wrong kids and they are just as much a part of the problem.

For some levity -or just tears- next up on the Losing Hall of Fame watch: with the next loss Carm will tie Byer's loss record of 22.(5-22).

One thing that Carm doesn’t own … Siena is tied for 342 in foul shooting percentage… that stat is on the players

I think Carm has said he relies on the players to practice free throw shooting on their own. Free throw shooting should be coached and part of conditioning in practice. Shooting 100 free throws while completely rested is completely different than in game situations where you are shooting two at a time and often exhausted.

IMO he owns it all-He is the head coach and the leader of the team- as a former teacher I was held responsible for my students' grades /failures/failure to learn. Teachers are still held responsible for this and their assessments reflect it. part of the job....

Have you ever seen a ‘free throw’ on a player’s highlight reel … fill in the blanks

I remember reading a long time ago about how John Wooden would conduct practices with his old UCLA teams. Once the teaching portion of the practice was over, he would have his kids scrimmage. He would start the scrimmage with his starting 5 up against his second string. The remaining members of the team would shoot free throws off to the side under the supervision of one of his assistants. As soon as one of them made ten free throws in a row (I think it was ten) he would immediately sub them into the scrimmage, with someone from the “playing group” coming out. The only way a removed player could rejoin the scrimmage was to make ten free throws in a row. The bottom line was, if you couldn’t make your free throws, you didn’t scrimmage very much. And if you didn’t scrimmage, you didn’t play in the games.

If he can't figure out that 4-6 points missed at the line are incredibly valuable in games where you lose by 2, we're truly doomed.

I will judge Carm on who leaves. Ojo and ME2 going will convince me that our HC has really lost the team

Today is not the day Carm takes responsibility.
