Would Carm himself want two more years of this. It has to be eating at him. Could he possibly just mail it in for two more years? And if he did, wouldn't that provide cause for dismissal? Maybe a brave player could sacrifice himself by getting Carm so mad that he strikes the player? D'Arg didn't act when he hit Tekin but maybe he'd act now given this situation. I heard he is complaining he can’t get guys because of NIL money but we must have at least as much as most other MAAC schools

We’re in the 350-360 range, there are quite a few teams above us where I would question how much NIL money is available. With Carm it’s just one excuse after another. It’s ALWAYS someone elses fault with this guy. SMH! I’d love to see Frank and several boosters contact the Board and tell them that the money tree has dried up until Carm’s bags packed.

Believe me that’s probably going to happen.

I think 3 teams in the MAAC even have an NIL collective in the MAAC. Iona, Fairfield and us. How much more of a competitive edge do you need?
Carm is the one that wanted all European kids on his roster (4 of 10) and turned down returning-to-the-area City Rock kids.
The fact he thought this group had the talent to win D-1 games blows my mind. Or say 2 weeks ago, "this group has the ability to win the MAAC," gives the administration no the choice but to move on.
Im guessing 2500 at tomorrows game (not including the 500 freebies of elementary school kids). D'Arg needs a cold glass of water thrown in his face.

Beagle just "steped away" from the UAlbany program for "personal reasons."
Seems like the mutiny thing is a 518 issue.

Got a too late invite from my cousin whose daughter at Geneseo was playing at New Paltz. Apparently she leads the nation in assists but will absolutely be back there next year cause her team is like a second family. OH MAN, I would love just a tiny bit of that in D1 men's basketball.

Not in the building for their home game last night? NCAA tell UAlbany to suspend him? Sounds like that could be it.

It’s up to beagle if and when he returns

Good for her, or maybe she hasn’t really received an offer she can’t refuse yet. NIL has created a bunch of monsters.

Per Killings: “He just wasn’t feeling right about playing,” Killings said on Thursday night. “We had to get him out of there and just kind of worry about him.” Kind of criptic; mentally or physically or conflict with coaching. UA is awful defensively they gave up 114 in regulation to a 1 - 6 AE team last night.

I do not ever recall a previous team where walk-ons get more playing time and are starting over players that are on scholarship. Typically Walk-ons get their playing time during practice and garbage time at the end of games. This situation is similar to my freshman year at Niagara. Former intramural players were getting playing time over the scholarship players and trying to play against Dave Bing and Jimmy Boeheim of Syracuse and Rich Barry of Miami. It wasn't pretty. That was Coach Gallaghar's last year. They brought in a new coach and recruited some guys who ended up in the NBA including Calvin Murphy. Change was needed then and change is needed now at Siena. And that new coach was Frank Layden whose name should replace Gallegher’s. Niagara’s best BB years were under his tenure.
