That sounds like the kind of list D'Arg would come up with. I don't see Siefert going that route and it seems he is making the calls not D'Arg. I hope I'm right or else not much changes unless GMac takes a big pay cut to bet he can make a difference as HC. Those are long odds on him accepting the job.

Sam the Butcher as DOBO and Peter first assistant. Marcia as new SID Get Alice and Jan on staff and it can't be worse than the D'Argenio clown show.

Yes! And I never knew why he never got a legit shot at his alma mater. He was very good in the MAAC at Marist. I've heard he's a little aloof. Well that trait didn't help Carm, but Brady might be a little better in the coaching department. ;-) I'd rather have the return of Lanier, who has appeared to have learned something along the way and could always recruit.

My guess is Brady is in the loop, but maybe as a possible lead assistant. No way Siena hires him as head coach, imo

Brady was a 4 year starter, that graduated as the schools all time assist leader. 100% different. His shot may have passed, I just never knew why since he killed it in the MAAC. Im all in on GMac and Luke Murray getting the first interviews. GMac this weekend, and Murray on Monday.

He may have deserved a shot at Siena at one point but unfortunately his time has well passed- he’s probably a great assistant though. I don’t even think D’arg would be floating his name right now - Wyland’s probably just speculating imo.

Maybe grabbing a life preserver though.

Not a fan of recycling former coaches or any other ex head coach. There’s enough young talented assistants who can recruit and put a game plan together. But we must play an exciting brand of basketball that pushes the ball upcourt. That’s what recruits are looking for from a coach.

I would hope this is just conjecture on RW’s part, I can’t see Seifert making the call on Carm and the statement he made only to have Siena come up with that weak of a list. Unfortunately these names read like a typical DArgenio/Siena effort. Lazy.

Siena can’t go cheap! They did that with the last 3 coaches! Enough already!

I havent, but if he's not on the short list, we're not doing it right. Something tells me Dad would be an active NIL member too.
