You missed about 15-20 openings. If you were going for TOP, Hofstra doesn't belong there. But by your list, 5 out of 347 schools is a lot? And which Siena candidates are in the running at UCLA or Minnesota? You don't need Siena candidates to be directly involved with those schools for it to have an impact. One of those schools takes a coach from somewhere else that would now be interested in the top Siena candidates and it is a problem. Say Jamie Dixon had decided to go to USC. Then suddenly Pitt would have had an opening and Paulsen and Toole may have been on their list. yup, that is a trickle down effect which could effect the Siena opening!!!!!!!!!

As of yesterday there were 30 coaches let go. Google it to see the list.

Alabama, A few more. knew about Marist, FDU & Buffalo...................wow, that is not a very attractive list.............ODU might be the best of the bunch on this listing, Texas Tech has a little juice but mainly that is a football school and Ball St has been a decent mid-major over the yrs........the rest is blech!!!!!!!!!!

That's why Siena should get a good choice. There aren't many better jobs available. If these guys want to move up, they can take the Siena job or wait and maybe never get a good spot. And Siena should be trying to grab a good coach, not waiting for the trickle down effect.

I hope they are just waiting for Rick Pitino to win the NC so that he can help his son seal the deal. :-)
