I received an e-mail solicitation from Pete Janny author of Pete's Substack. The article described the results of scrimmages involving MAAC teams and also NJIT.
The scrimmages were described in detail with only one a Mount Saint Mary's double overtime win over Bucknell being described as a charity exhibition.
Results as follows: Manhattan goes to Philly and loses to St. Joe's 78-68 St. Bona transfer Rumpel played well for the Jaspers, NJIT of the AE is described as giving Seton Hall
a battle to the end but no final score given Former Jasper Elijah Buchannan had to leave game early for NJIT but was described as having had 25 points in a scrimmage against Marist
Fairfield without its injured projected starting team lost by 33 to Stony Brook, Iona playing U Mass in Springfield lost 78-72, it was reported that the Gaels had tied Fordham in
