Winning your conference championship and losing in the conference tournamnet no longer means a spot in the NIT.
Instead the NIT will invite the two highest NET teams in each of the Power 6 conferences (ACC, Big East, Big 10, Big 12, Pac-12 and SEC) that don't make the NCAA tournament and guarantee them home games for the first round of the NIT.
The little guy gets shafted again.

The little guy gets shafted again. The funny thing is the top two non-NCAA tournament power 6 teams were getting home NIT games anyway. Ridiculous.
