Any kids at the tourney look like potential recuits for us - like Lewis two years ago.

Best one I saw was McLoud from Watervliet. Too bad he won't predict. Hope he spends a year at prep school and we can get involved with him next fall.
ps--this year was the worst talent level I've ever seen at a Federation tournament.

On New York Insiders he says he is down to Bonnies, LaSalle, and Buffalo and will visit all 3 in the next couple of weeks and decide. Guidance counselor must not be communicating clearly

For us out of towners can someone give some info about McLoud? Tyler McLeod, he started out at SG at Catholic High and then transferred home to Watervliet to play PG for the past two years. He's more of his own offensive threat than a true point guard, in my opinion, but he's talented. I'm not sure that he's what Siena needs.

LOVE McLeod’s game. Very smart, unselfish player, doesn’t force. Strong and gets to the hoop, makes teammates better. Good ball handler and shooter. By far the best player on that Watervliet team. Siena could definitely use him. He’s a high school version of LeBron.

6'3", 190 point guard. Man among boys in HS. Can see the whole floor, but doesn't have a lot around him right now, so it's his goal to get the basket everytime. He made some real nice passes to open teammates at the Federation because the opposing coach smartly ran a second defender at him everytime he crossed midcourt to get the ball out of his hands. It worked. 'Vliet got blown out the 2nd half. IF LaSalle wants him, I'm pretty sure he could play for us

LaSalle is loaded with guards and is only losing one this year I believe.

How can you say Mcleod doesn't have much around him when Gleason got a scholarship to a Division 1 school?

Watervliet had a great team, but McLeoud still shined as the best player on the team by a wide margin. He is a complete player, but what I liked most was his mid range jumper, a dying art. I think he would do well at lasalle. He's also humble, at least outwardly, which is refreshing.
