....ex-Siena assistant, and now HC at Mohawk CC just sent one of this players to FIU. Pretty sure Harley played there. Travis Gray, a 6'7" wing from Syracuse makes the move to D-1. Gray was a 3rd team NJCAA All-American.
Harley has turned MCC into a pretty good program with some talented kids. This level is one we need to get involved with in this current landscape.

I think JUCOs are fine to recruit. Siena seems to shy away from them, but if the academics are good and the kid can play I don't see the distain for JUCO recruits. Basketball factory JUCOs are another story, but even there if the academics are vetted everything can be fine. Like every recruit, you assess the individual not the "program". |
