Yeah, the "Beagle ever playing at Siena" thing has been dead for a year....and I think Carm is fine with that. He never really liked the kid. Your guy Timberlake has blown up. Visiting St John’s and NC and other blue bloods involved His Dad played at BU so Im sure that connection helped with Pitino. He has good size and can score the ball, so Im sur plenty of teams will love the one year rental!

I would take the Notre Dame kid, Ryan, over Girard. Girard is a bad shot waiting to happen. I have a better chance of founding my own college, it gaining all the necessary accreditations, receiving an invite to the MAAC, and winning the league in year one than we have of landing Cormac Ryan or Joe Girard. Any player who is a quality rotation player already at a high-major school is not coming to Siena or the MAAC unless they are related to the coach. Let’s be realistic about actual potential targets instead of wasting air wondering why a kid who scored 1600 points at Syracuse would come slum it on busses so his family could drive an hour to home games instead of two. Seriously. If the kid is interested in coming home, we will know about it and begin the process. But there is no sales pitch to be made on our end and the idea that the staff should waste its time trying to sell Joe Girard on Siena instead of actually recruiting the transfers we need to help win the league next year is absurd That post is loaded all sorts of good material. Why would you go through all that trouble aren’t you practically an assistant at one now?😉 Slumming it in on buses? Dear lord I hope that’s not a direct quote from Carm’s current sales pitch. It might explain some of our recruiting woes as of late. Speaking of waste of time do we have anyone in Iceland or have we exhausted scouring that basketball mecca and moved onto Greenland for the next big reach? Isn’t sarcasm fun? Seriously, sure Girard isn’t coming here but there’s no harm in Carm picking up the phone and congratulating JG3 on a nice career at Syracuse, & wishing him all the best on his next move, & asking if there’s anything he can do, let him know. That’s a big 10 minute conversation. Sometimes a little goodwill goes along way!

Joel Spinelli a tough 6'2" freshman guard from has left Evansville. He got 15 min a game so he must be able to play a little bit.
From Watertown Mass, and played at The Darrow School

Wasn't his dad one of the two "muscle" guards that played for the BU team the soon to be named Saints beat in Hartford to go to Greensboro?

Josh Oduro, a 6'9" 237 C/F has left George Mason. Think he has 2 years left. We offered him in '19
*forget it. His numbers are way too good (16 & 8). He'll go power 6.

North Carolina RS freshman center Will Shaver from Alabama never really got on the floor for the Tar Heels. He's 6'10" 260.
Wonder if Platek was involved in his recruitment/visit? Might be able to put a good word in for us.
