Hope there's not already a thread for this here.
A buddy just said he is now interested in going so I am looking for tickets for Fri & Sat (and then accommodations).
Does anybody know if we can purchase at all through the school? Or have to be via the MAAC site and then Ticket Master? For some reason, when I look at Friday on TM it shows available tickets to the right but not a map of where it is in the arena.
And I assume we wouldn't know where our bench would be, but does anybody know the side they would be on (119-123 or 103-107)?
Any suggestions or recommendations are welcome.

I am waiting on bus options. Taking Yankee Trails down is a good way to go and they take care of the details. You will be able to get tickets for any session though the day of.

If I remember correctly Sec 119-123 is behind the benches. www.ticketmaster.com/2023-maac-basketball-championships-atlantic-city-new-jersey-03-07-2023/event/02005D3AA2572427Tickets can be purchased from the Jim Whelan arena or ticket master. When you’re seated behind the benches that open part of the arena is at your right. If you’re in the opposite side of the arena facing the team benches then that open area is at your left. Only seats 3/4’s if the bowl.

likely a dumb question, but i assume it is easy to buy tickets during the tournament? honestly, have little interest in a st. peter's-msm tilt, so would likely buy last second for siena game...i guess that wouldn't be too difficult? anyone know? good thing is i doubt it would be a sellout...

I really don't THINK it will be a problem to get tickets last second. Attendance for Fri & Sat will probably depend on who makes it to the semis. Rider is closest (1.5 hours) and I wouldn't EXPECT them to move the needle much as fare as attendees, though. Siena & Iona fans will probably show up in decent numbers, but still think it will not sell out. I was thinking of buying there myself; mostly because of the fees online - almost 50% of the ticket cost, which is ridiculous. I just hate to do that, if only on principle.

I can only imagine maybe the championship game selling out and you would have no problems getting tickets for that at the box office earlier in the week. Can definitely avoid the ridiculous online fees.

Sounds like UBS is out of the mix. Albany or AC. I'll take another year in AC please.

I don’t see the MAAC giving AC another year which would be their 5th in total (3-yr contract but due to no fans the COVID yr, MAAC gave them this year as their 4th). It should be the normal 3 yr contract to who ever wins it (awarded it) unless they alternate like they did in the past.

Well find out on Tuesday if Albany is in the mix. I think they'll split the next contract between Albany and AC.

I think we're in the mix. but a real longshot. AD's and coaches do not want to play in Albany.

And believe me, no one wants in Albany more than me, but I just dont think the new commissioner will want to piss off 10 teams in his first big decision.

Was hoping they do 2 and 1 with AC and Albany but I guess not. Have to say I enjoy AC, I'm not going to complain.
