Ok, we didn’t play very well in the 3rd; too many TOs and empty possessions.
Siena still leads 42-35; FF made up 7 of their 14 pt deficit.
Let’s Go Saints!!!

Brown and Jackson didn’t start wonder if they had an issue and got benched to start. Selimovic is really coming on

In her last three games she scored 19,13 & 16 and was the team’s leading scorer in two of those three. If that doesn’t mean she s/b a starter; I don’t know what should qualify. London got the start over baby Jackson; she’s been playing well as of late.

Siena currently (as Iona plays later tonight) tied for first place 3-1 with Iona, Fairfield (which we currently hold the tie breaker on) and Quinnipiac.
Iona plays tonight so they will either take sole position or drop and their’ll only be a three way tied for 1st. Go Rider (tonight). 🙂

Brown has been a double double machine so your answe makes no sense that she would be the one benched. Jackson has played welll too

You made my ping. I was referring to IS saying the other kids have played well. True but Brown is not the player you bench for output and Jackson has been solid. So this my assumption they were late for bus, practice, etc. that requires a minor benching

Jackson has played welll too Teams leading scorer and 2nd high scorer the last two games; shooting 60% from the floor; is one of the higher BBall IQ on the team and was rewarded with her play of late to start. Plus Siena wanted to play at a much faster pace and she’s a little faster than Brown. Don’t get me wrong, I love Brown and her production of late but I’m not surprised she got the start. In addition we don’t know how practices went.

Iona can take sole possession of 1st with a win tonight against Rider or a loss drops them into a 4 way tie for 3rd place.

Weather it was past games, practice or specific match ups with FF players.

Oh well, Iona beating Rider by 20 (54-34) half way through the 3rd quarter.
Looks like Iona will be in sole position of 1st place with Siena & FF tied for 2nd (unless Rider some how pulls this out).
